  This was our very first time in Seguin, Texas and we were very pleased with our stay in this house! It is close to town for grocery runs, but the large property and the greenery throughout make it feel like a private retreat. Large back yard and front yard with volleyball and basketball, and picnic tables for outdoor dining. We loved the river access! We really felt like we had an entire river to ourselves. There is a park on the other side of the river, and we'd see a golfer here and there but we never had any noise issues at all. The water was the perfect temperature for swimming, bring some floaties or noodles for maximum fun. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of beds and bedrooms for all. We appreciated the bedroom configurations to accommodate couples, singles, and families. The electronics were very up-to-date, it was great having wi-fi but to be honest we never watched TV! It is a short drive from Seguin to New Braunfels, and easy access to San Antonio and Austin as well (we visited all three). We had a busy week planned, but spent a lot of time commenting that we wish we had more 'down time' just to enjoy the house.

  WE ENJOYED OUR RECENT STAY, THE HOME IS ROOMY, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE MANAGER WAS HELPFUL AND VERY POLITE. THEY RETURNED DEPOSIT PROMPLY WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE PROPERTY WAS AS LISTED AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT.

  Though I thought the house looked good in these pictures, it turned out to be much better in real life. The house was very roomy and comfortable, and our family reunion was a great success. The deck and river were perfect - spent many hours just floating in our own "private" river. The screened porch was also a favorite gathering place. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

  We are three 60-ish couples who love to get away from the city and kick back, in areas where we can access shopping and sight-seeing and get back to seclusion quickly. We also like our creature comforts and all the conveniences of home! This house delivers all that. This is definitely not an elegant property with luxurious frills, but it's spacious and comfortable, on a lot large enough that neighborhood sounds don't reach. There is plenty of room for gathering together -- inside, outside, and on the patio -- and plenty of private space, as well. New Braunfels and Gruene are 25 minutes away, San Antonio a bit farther. We were impressed with the fact that repairs to a malfunctioning fridge, discovered on our first day, were provided quickly and pleasantly, and ice and interim food storage was supplied; we all know "stuff happens", and management did not allow this "stuff" to interfere with our relaxation. We'd recommend this property to up to 4 couples, or to a group of families with kids -- each bedroom can accommodate a couple and a kid or two -- and for a small family reunion.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  This is a great place to stay. I took my family of 11 and stayed 3 nights. The house was very clean and roomy. Having a rowdy 5 year old grandson, whose into everything, I felt safe with the river being so close by. The kids loved the dock and rope on the tree. Very deep water though highly reccommend life jackets. Its so peaceful and quite. I love the early mornings on the screened in patio. I reccomend this house to everyone and have already told many people about it. We spent one day at New Braunfels, easy to get to, and the next just shoping and swimming at the river. Randy, and Lisa were very friendly. Would love to go here again. Carla
