The Crow's Nest was comfortable and roomy for our weekend get away. Home was clean and a nice touch of flowers to welcome us. Just a quick walk to the beach. Deposit refund was prompt. Over all a great experience. Would go back again.

Perfect for our family Thanksgivng weekend

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful beach house. We walked to the beach a few times a day even in the rain because it was so close and scenic. The house was perfect for our needs. It is very nicely decorated and we immediately felt at home when we walked in. We had two families, 4 adults and 4 'young adults', and everyone was comfortable. There are plenty of linens and the house is very nicely decorated. We cooked all our dinners in the house, including Thanksgiving dinner, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Safeway and Fred Meyer are just a few minutes drive from the home which we were happy about since we had quite a few groceries to buy plus last minute items. We also had time to shop on Bay street downtown, which is a small area with some great little shops. We enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back! Thank you for sharing your home!

Comfortable, Clean and Close to the beach

Although this property was larger than we needed, it was perfect for the four of us. There were two nice bedroom on the main floor with comfy king size beds, a nice bright kitchen and spacious eating area. Most of our time was spent at the picnic type table which afforded us views of the ocean from several windows. On the same level was a large living room with a leather sofa and love seat. We temporality moved a couple large chairs from a cozy nook in the kitchen to the living room when we had guests. Also on that level was one nice size bathroom. Up stairs was a large loft overlooking the kitchen with sofa a bed and TV. Down stairs (just of the entrance) was another bedroom with a queen size bed and a bathroom. We did not need that bedroom so we had the guys use that bathroom. The house is in a great location with an easy walk to the beach. I would not recommend this house to people who can't climb stairs or families with small children. Special thanks to Tony for all his help in securing the property. He returned my calls promptly and answered all my questions honestly and returned my security deposit within days of our departure.

We've just returned from our second stay. The Crows Nest is bright and comfortable and has more than enough room for two families. Its a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the dunes. The owner is very easy to deal with and damage deposits are returned promptly. For a nice dinner in Florence, try Feast. For a nice dinner AND good service, try Ona in Yachats. Also, the dune buggy rides are a must!

August Family Getaway

Our family of five spent six days in this very spacious, lovely decorated and welcoming home. There was room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. With three teenagers, it was so nice that everyone had their own personal space. We really appreciated the central location to so many activities from crabbing and fishing, walks on the beach, exploring tidal pools, riding sand rails, exploring Old Town Florence, to simply sitting on the deck watching the sun set while oysters were grilling on the Weber outside. Thank you for a memorable summer vacation.

Excellent location, had a wonderful time on the family vacation. The Crowes Nest is everthing it promises and more, including a quick refund on deposit. Well managed, clean, and spacious. It is very close to the Beach and within a short drive to the old town florence, dunes, and other activities. As a military family I hope that I can return again and I would reccomend for any family wishing to vacation in florence.

We absolutely loved The Crow's Nest! It was peaceful and perfectly situated for our vacation needs. It provided a wonderful warmth and coziness to return home to each day we were out. The layout of the house was also ideal for the 7 of us, as we each felt like we had our own privacy to retreat to when needed. Of course, we would be more than happy to pass along information on The Crow's Nest to anyone who might be looking for a Florence destination. It really has so much to offer.

My family and I had an absolute wonderful Thanksgiving at this place. My grandmother is at Spruce Pointe down the road and we were close to her and able to spend a lot of time with her. The beach is a block away which was a nice short walk. The beds were to die for and very comfortable. The house was warm and cozy and we felt at home the minute we walked through the door. This is our first VRBO booking and we are very pleased. The owner corresponded with us quickly via email and phone in assisting us with any questions or concerns. "This was a great house for us - 2 couples from Chicago and another from Portland who found this wonderful spot. The house was roomy, clean and well equipped and in a good location.... plenty of shops, restaurants and the fabulous beach. We were lucky and had 6 out of 7 sunny days, but we even enjoyed our one rainy day. It was fun driving up and down the coast and taking in all the beautiful sites. But the best was walking the beach every morning! Lovely!"

Your location is wonderful, so close to the beach, yet close to town too. We had a wonderful time celebrating Easter and the beginning of Spring Break here. The Easter bunny even found us!
