Accommodations:  Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 6-8)

On a dense, lush ridge top lays the Grouse Ridge - a rustic yet elegant, 2-story, log home with a hunter-green tin roof. Once inside, guests will notice the openness of the central room, and the loft that hovers above it. With hardwood floors and all the luxuries of home, the den and kitchen combination (central room) work together magnificently to offer comfort to visitors.

The hallway leads to a full bathroom and two private bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom boasts a log-crafted King Bed. A smaller, cozy bedroom offers two Twin Beds and wildlife decor. The towering stairway leads to yet another full bathroom, and a private bedroom with a Queen Bed. A private 8 stall barn accompanies the cabin on this 4 acre secluded lot, along with IMMEDIATE trail access!

With all the comforts from home, and with the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area being 30 yards from its doorstep, a vacation at Grouse Ridge will surely become an unequaled experience!

Encompassing 125,000 acres of the Cumberland Plateau, Big South Fork National River, and Recreation Area protects the free-flowing Big South Fork of the Cumberland River and its tributaries. The area boasts miles of scenic gorges and sandstone bluffs, is rich with natural and historic features and has been developed to provide visitors with a wide range of outdoor recreational activities.

Established in 1974 Big South Fork was designated as both a National Recreation Area and a National River. The National Recreation Area designation was deemed appropriate due to the area’s proximity to a large number of metropolitan areas and the potential the area exhibited for outdoor recreational activities.
