We had a wonderful time at Mutual Fun! After 5+ years of staying in Seagrove, we had no clue what we were missing out on in Grayton! The beach is so much wider at your home and with the inlet there, it is absolute paradise! The kids loved having the kayak available to them and we were lucky to have a full moon rise on our last night there. Your home is very well kept and very well stocked. We loved the location of the home and the quality of the deck chairs and furniture. Having two refrigerators and an extra ice maker was an appreciated bonus. We are already thinking about our next stay at Mutual Fun!

We are so lucky that when we arrived in Florida for a family vacation our first accommodations fell through, and we were forced to quickly find another home. I thought that finding a spot that met our needs (and wishes) would be impossible on short notice. However, it was meant to be that we stumbled upon the Mutual Fun listing. The owners are absolutely amazing and saved our vacation! Arriving late at night we were impressed enough with the house (super clean, very roomy, secluded) and we couldn't believe what we found when we woke in the morning. Our kids hit the sand at the crack of dawn. There is a good expanse of beach between the end of the boardwalk and the edge of the water. The kids were entertained playing at the end of the boardwalk until we met them and we headed to the beach. It was so wonderful to be close enough to the house that we could easily go back and forth for naps, food and sunscreen. Some of our favorite things about the house and beach? The amazing view from inside the house and from the decks, outdoor showers, well-stocked kitchen, privacy (the house is at the end of a row of homes), proximity to Seaside (not too close, not too far away), the closet full of beach toys for the kids, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, perfect white sand, the lake stream running alongside the house, catching crabs at night by flashlight, the screened in room on the deck and more. Seriously, we felt like we were in a movie. The downside of Mutual Fun? The bar has been raised for all future vacations! When I asked our family if they would rather go back to Hawaii or return to Florida the hands down winner was Mutual Fun. I know that this is our new spot for summer vacation!

My husband and I traveled to Grayton Beach and stayed in Mutual Fun for a much needed vacation. We spent the majority of our trip at the house. The weather was beautiful on the first few days of our trip. We enjoyed sitting at the tip of the stream where the warm water meets the cold ocean water. This was very relaxing and a feature you won't find anywhere else in the area. We walked the shores in the morning and evening. The rain hit on our 3rd or 4th day and continued on and off for the rest of the trip. We spent a lot our time sitting on the top deck listening to the ocean and watching the storms move in and out. The amenities on the inside and outside of the house we're wonderful including the outdoor shower with hot water, and books and puzzles provided inside. We even did the beach umbrella puzzle which is a 'couple' first for us. At night we enjoyed the restaurants of 30A. Red Bar is our very favorite place to eat. My least favorite part of Mutual Fun was leaving Mutual Fun... It was almost impossible to go home. My husband and I almost called to extend our stay. :) We will definitely be back to stay in this wonderful home. Thank you!

"We have been having family reunions at various beachhomes along the Gulf Coast for 5 years. Mutual Fun was absolutely, absolutely, the best of all! The location and privacy of the beach was superb! Even the subdivision is secluded with the vegetation. We especially enjoyed the spacious patios including the screened area for picnic-style eating. My grandchildren loved the crabbing at night and digging holes in the sand during the day (they seem to prefer holes to sandcastles). And both of you were very prompt in the necessary communications associated with the rental. Thanks so much. Jan, IL"

My wife and I chose this beautiful beach house as the sight for our vow renewal ceremony. We had stayed in the Gulf Trace development in 2006 for our daughters graduation trip. We would walk across the Mutual Fun property and said we would love to stay there in the future. The website was very informative. We communicated with Wayne and Mary via email and phone on several different occasions. They were wonderful to work with and we developed a frrienship that we hope remains for a very long time The house was everything we had hoped that it would be. We have stayed in many vacation homes and this one was the best by far. The kitchen was the most well equipped and stocked that we have seen. The floor plan was great! It was spacious and gave everyone plenty of privacy. The views from the porches are awesome. We spent most of our time on the screened porch and the open deck. The sunrises were spectacular since the state park is to the east of the property. We like the area because you are a short driving distance to Destin to the west or Panama City to the east. We would highly recommend Mutual Fun to others. We hope that we get to spend many more vacations there.

Not only is this house gorgeous and accomodating to more than one family, including little ones, but it truly felt like our home away from home. The owners, Mary & Wayne Walker go to the extreme to make sure your stay is wonderful. This home is plenty big with "divided" space so you don't ever feel cramped. You also have your own little private area of beach with a little stream nearby just perfect for the little ones. We will definately be back next year!!!

We've been vacationing with our children at Mutual Fun for many years. It's our family's favorite vacation spot. It's the perfect place to get away from it all and just relax. We like that its convenient to restaurants and shopping, yet located in a small secluded community, set right on the beach, with fabulous views of the dunes and the Gulf. Most years we can watch the dolphins swim by without even leaving the porch. We love to wake each morning to the unobstructed sunrises over the state park dunes, and then later to sit on the beach and watch the gorgeous sunsets over the water. There's not a more beautiful spot in the world. Our thanks to Mary and Wayne for sharing it with us.

Heaven on Earth! Mutual Fun is also known to our family as THE LAST GREAT BEACH HOUSE! And, it is. Situated on the most gorgeous stretch of a beach that is regularly chosen The Most Beautiful Beach In The World, Mutual Fun is unsurpassed for those seeking a tranquil place that is truly unique. The house is oriented to overlook astonishingly large, white sand dunes. Many rooms in the house offer rear views of the equally lovely Alligator Lake...one of very few dune lakes existing in the world. The magical creek that flows beside the house from the lake to the sea is a photographer's dream. It is tradition in our family that the first thing we do on arrival is run to see what new, ever-changing path the creek has carved through the beach sand as it seeks the sea. The house itself is elegant simplicity. The great, open kitchen quickly becomes the command center of any visit. The owners are lovely, good people...attentive to any need. Our family places a great deal of value on travel and new experiences. We take many trips together each year...but Mutual Fun is the only place we return to year after year after year. It has a way of getting in your head and holding on to you. If we don't get our Mutual-Fun-fix, something seems wrong with the world. We have vacationed there in all seasons, and we love it in winter as much as summer. If you want to be able to imagine what the beach shoreline was like when Columbus landed and before rampant commercial development, come for one of the last glimpses left in America. Enchantment awaits.

We are back from our stay at Mutual Fun but we are ready to head back! It is without a doubt the most perfect spot to relax, play, and enjoy the very private beach and surrounding area. The beach house has every amenity you could want…decks and balconies for lounging or entertaining, screened porch for dining, HDTV with surround sound, wireless internet, and an ice maker in the kitchen for fresh, icy drinks! The artwork throughout the house adds to the fun and relaxing beach ambience. Wayne and Mary Walker’s desire is to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. They impeccably maintain their beach house. One visit to Mutual Fun and you’ll be in love with it. We can’t wait to go back!

Our second stay at a Wayne/Mary Walker owned property and this one (Mutual Fun - Thanksgiving, 2009) was the best yet. Our family met down in Santa Rosa Beach and we just chilled out and really enjoyed each other's company. Ideal weather conditons, excellent shopping opportunities for the ladies, big screen TV's for the lone guy and a superb, fully functional beach house fit the bill perfectly. If you haven't stayed here you're missing out on a true beach house experience. Wayne and Mary are superb hosts and made us truly feel welcome at their beach home. Thanks for letting us share your lovely home and we are already planning a return trip in the near future. Thanks Again..!!!

Fabulous. We have been staying at Mutual Fun for so many years I have lost count. Sometimes we stay one week sometimes two. We take adults one week and kids the next. A great break for everyone. It is our favorite place in the US. It is all about location and having every creature comfort you could possibly need and more. Wayne and Mary are great hosts. Don't miss even one sunset!

Mutual Fun is awesome and so is the location. The house was pefect for our family and had all of the amenties we wanted and needed. The porches were especially nice providing a wonderful panorama of the Gulf. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves . . . with only a 5-minute drive to the action at Seaside. I highly recommend Mutual Fun and this location. March/2009

Every summer, when I was a kid, my family would go stay here for a week or two. I am 15 now and it has been about 8 years or so since I last saw it. So many memories I have from this place. From the "King Dune" to Alligator Lake, I miss it all. It has been so long since I last saw it, and I am so happy to see it again. I strongly recommend this home. I feel so sad knowing I may never go there again. This home has so much sentimental value to me. I now live far away (I used to live in Florida), and I wish so much to go again, have on final walk on the beach, climb the big dune again, have crab races, search for tadpoles, and snorkel in the water. This truly is "the best spot on the beach". By the way my date of arrival I listed is a random guess. I've gone there maybe 8 summers yearly.
