Beautiful, relaxing vacation!

My wife and I just got back from staying here for the past week. We've been down to Watercolor several times, but this was without a doubt one of our favorite vacations. The house was exactly as described. It was extremely clean upon arrival, had everything we needed and then some, and, in my opinion, has one of the best locations in Watercolor. I think all week we got in our car once (because it was raining when we wanted to go eat one evening). Other than that we rode our bikes everywhere. The beach was a short ride away, as was the boat house, several pools, and Publix was within walking distance, which was great when we were cooking and realized we needed a last minute item (which happened several times). I really likes the location because it's not extremely close to the beach where it can get crowded and noisy with the traffic, but we could get there on our bikes in 5 minutes. We've stayed in homes where you can tell the owner does the bare minimum as far as making sure the renters are comfortable. This was far from the case here. Everything from the high end appliances, to the 3 beautiful decks with great furniture, to the details in the furnishings really made this place feel so much like home instead of just a place to stay for a week. I could go on and on, but if I have anything to do with it, there's no way we would stay anywhere else when we come back to Watercolor next time. You won't be disappointed with this beautiful place.

Enjoyed the House and location for my family

We stayed a few weeks back and we so enjoyed biking over every bridge in Watercolor from the house. We made a game of it and it became a daily ritual. Then back to the house to enjoy the great Master bedroom with wonderful shower and very private for my husband and I. Perfection! We had a small problem with the air conditioning and the owner took care of it immediately. Cannot wait to come back.

The house was dirty upon arrival. Glass doors had not been cleaned from previous guest. Fingerprints on every glass door. Furniture stained and dirty. Smells like smoke. Floors not mopped. House smelled and felt dirty. Unhappy with quality of cleaning and smell. Far away from beach. For price should have been professionally cleaned and clearly was not.

Owner response:We are very sorry to hear that you feel like that. It is the first I have heard of any problem. Beside you asking repeatedly how much the fitness club charges to workout. We have been fortunate to have very good reviews through the years and I would be happy to clean and try to improve upon the condition of the house if you speak to me directly about the house. I have heard back from my crew and they said that you came before check in by 2 hours and this always throws people off somewhat. But again I am sorry for the smudges on the glass and the the floors not being mopped to your satisfaction.

Just had a very enjoyable week - the home was spacious with great amenities, not to mention being so close to everything! Our favorites included long walks on the trails/piers, the Frog pool, and of course the beautiful beach! Lunch at MarketCafe in Seagrove was great as well! Our nine month old enjoyed his time here too - breakfast on the back porch was one of his favorites, and the home was quite open and perfect for young children! The Seaside ArtQuest had some fun music and art exhibits! Thanks Judy for such a great time and sharing your home with us!

Our family has had the opportunity to stay at this property a few times. The layout of the house, the furnishings, the location; all of which makes us want to keep coming back each year. We have celebrated holidays, birthdays, vacations, etc. and wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for a week with extended family, including children. The house is luxurious, but also extremely comfortable, family-friendly and perfect for gourmet "chefs" like my husband. Moreover, it's large enough to have personal space with a number of occupants. Much to offer for both children and adults. It's within walking distance of everything--shops, restaurants--but we never felt surrounded by vacationers. We highly recommend this property!!!!

We just spent a wonderful week at the house. Thank you Judy. Everything was very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for the 6 people we had. We loved the peace and quiet of the area and the convenience of having close by shopping. We had a wonderful time and did not want to come back home. You were right Judy, the Frog pool was the best one to use and dinner at Fish out of Water was fabulous. Thanks again Judy for making this house available!

Wow,we spent Thanksgiving 07 in this house and were amazed.Everything we needed was provided except the turkey of course.Great house,comfortable,light and airy,bikes,internet,etc.Everything we needed.We can't wait to go back.

This is an amazing place. Everything you need to cook. Plasma tv's in the bedroom, a sunporch to eat breakfast in the morning. 2 sets of double doors to let the fresh air in. Everything is amazing. The bedrooms are very comfortable with plenty of space. The master bed and bath is spacious and beautiful. There are porches off both upstairs bedrooms. It's great for a family get away or a couple of families. The beaches are the most beautiful I have ever seen. I would rather go here than Belize or Cabo....If you can get into this place, book now!! I can't wait to go back!!
