THE PROPERTY:
Towering pines majestically greet you as you enter the Private Security Gate of four secluded and wooded acres.
THE LANDSCAPE:
Meander the lush garden surrounding the BEAUTIFUL KOI PONDS. Rest your weary bodies by listening to the PEACEFUL WATERFALLS & CREEK. Refresh yourself in the SOLAR HEATED IN-GROUND POOL (Apr 1st - Oct 1st) or the THERAPEUTIC HOT TUB (Year Around) . Then, when you are ready, grill up the Salmon you just caught, on the GAS BBQ and dine on the covered patio overlooking the Koi ponds.
THE HOME:
Wild Rogue Oasis is an immaculate, rustically decorated ranch home. The THREE Spacious Bedrooms and THREE Baths (one bath @ pool) easily accommodates 16 GUESTS COMFORTABLY. The dining room is perfect for family, friends, or a romantic fireside dinner.
THE SLEEPING ARRANGEMNETS (12 GUESTS in BEDS):
The Master Garden room has a Cal. King Bed, the Country Cabin room has a Queen Bed, and the Country Air room has a Trundle Bed, which is either a King Bed or two Single Beds. Additionally, there are two 20” high Queen Air Mattresses with on-board compressors, bedding provided. There is a lot of extra bedding for recliner or floor sleeping (kids love this).
THE INFANT & TODDLER STUFF:
There is a Play-n-Pack w/New Born Bassinette, bedding provided. Two High chairs, Dishware, Diaper Pail, Gates, Walker, & Toys; all sanitized after every use.
THE KITCHEN:
At Wild Rogue Oasis, you bring only your clothes, toiletries, food, and activity equipment.
We provide an EXCELLENTLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN, which includes more than the average basics, plus:
* Large Griddle, Waffle Iron, 3-Crock Pots & Ice Cream Maker w/Basis Ice Cream Recipe
* Coffee, Tea & Condiments
* Spices, Spray Oil
* Foil, Waxed Paper, Saran Wrap
THE LINENS: The three baths have many towels, and there are 16 Pool/Spa Towels. All the bedding & towels are of fine linen. The closets have many hangers too.
THE HOME’S LAUNDRY ROOM: There is a washer & dryer with LAUNDRY SOAP & FABRIC SOFTENERS provided.
THE FLAT SCREEN TV & RECLINERS:
Do not miss your favorite sports game or TV show, you can record it on the HD-DVR. Relax in one of SIX RECLINERS and watch it at your leisure on the 46' LCD FLAT SCREEN TV.
THE WOOD STOVE:
At Wild Rogue Oasis, you can curl up with a good book in front of the WOOD STOVE. The WOOD, KINDLING & MATCHES provided too.
THE RECREATION:
Be sure to plan in some quiet rest & relaxation by the pool or wood stove at Wild Rogue Oasis. The Grants Pass area is famous for the Wild & Scenic Rogue River. Adventure the Jetboat Rides, Kayaking, Rafting, or Salmon Fishing; Wild Life Images or Antique Shopping; all within a few short miles of Wild Rogue Oasis.
In the Southern Oregon area, travel north 60 miles to Wildlife Safari and drive through the 600 acres wild animal park. Travel south 45 miles to Britt Gardens, Historic Jacksonville, Harry & David Gourmet Food & Gifts, and the Shakespeare Festival. Mount Ashland for snow skiing is only 60 miles. Take a day trip east to the one and only Crater Lake and Union Creek Falls, don’t forget to stop at Becky’s for a piece of her scrumptious pie. Going west 40-50 miles are the Oregon Caves, Treehouse Ziplines, and the spectacular Redwood Forest. Just another 60 miles you will be at the beautiful Oregon Coast at Brookings.

What a beautiful place! This was our parties first time ever using a vacation rental and what an amazing experience it was. Everything that they said on their website was accurate. We had a great time and enjoyed everything during our visit. Highly recommend going there & would love to go there again during the spring or summer to see how beautiful the property looks. IF YOU WANT PEACE AND QUIET WITH FRIENDS OR FAMILY, WITH EVERY THING YOU NEED IN A HOUSE......TRY THIS GETAWAY. WE HAD A GREAT TIME. POOLS A BIT COLD IN THE WINTER.....OK ITS POLAR BEAR COLD, BUT WE'LL BE BACK THIS SUMMER WHEN IT WARMS UP. DOLORES AND DICK ARE TRULY GOOD FRIENDLY PEOPLE. I KNOW YOU WILL ENJOY THIS GETAWAY LIKE WE DID.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

the house and grounds are beautiful !! The owners are real nice :) The only thing was we thought the house would be bigger based on the description there were 6 of us and we were comfortable, but if there more I don't know where you would put them . They had maps and brochures of things to do in the area,(helpful).the address was easy to find & there are grocery stores nearby if you forget anything & some stores to dig for treasures in... great fun !! Merlin is a nice little town.Owner response: Thank you so much for your compliments & comments, they are much appreciated. As vacation rentals go this home is an average size. There are several locations in the home for the provided (three) Aero beds, the Living Room, the Sitting Room, and the most popular for privacy the Office. We have had many groups as large as 16 very satisfied with the sleeping arrangements. Respectfully, Dolores, Owner

We had a reunion for old friends (4 Couples) for 4 nites. Even though a 3 bedroom there was room a queen airbed, or we could have used a futon in the living room This place was a dream, with gardens and private pool that were incredible. The pictures really dont do it justice. The owners were wonderful, helpful, and available if you needed anything. We'll definitely return! It's close to the Rogue river with all it's activities.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

What a little slice of heaven tucked in among the trees in Merlin, Oregon! Our group of 8 ranged from age 91 to 18 months and every one had a super time. The house is beautiful and one level so Mom had no problem getting around. Kitchen is better equipped then mine at home! Kids enjoyed feeding the fish and spending time in the pool and hot tub. The ponds and waterfalls were so beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed eating on the patio. Dick and Delores were great hosts - very considerate and hospitable. I guess our two complaints were that the week sped by entirely too fast and the weather could have been a little warmer, neither which Dick and Delores had any control over! Would definitely recommend.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Beautiful!! We had the best time staying at Wild Oasis...Delores and Dick were the best hosts and what they have done with the property is amazing. Can't wait to go back. We were there 5 nights and they just flew by! The property was like our own private wonderland.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

What a beautiful place for six old people to relax.Waterfalls,pool,hot tub,koi pond with over 100 koi to feed and watch.wooden walkways to traverse around the scenery and benches to sit on to watch all this beauty in peace and quiet. Inside the house everything was immaculate.Beautiful artwork on the walls and all we had to bring was our food and drinks...everything else was provided.Sure beats having to rent 3 rooms in a hotel and we were able to split the cost 3 ways.While you are down here relaxing,try taking the jet boat on the Rogue River..it's fabulousDid you find this review helpful? What a beautiful,relaxing and peaceful place to stay while we were in Grants Pass.The pool,hot tub,koi pond,and all the greenery and wooden walkways,oh and the waterfalls all contributed to a very peaceful and relaxing stay.We also enjoyed feeding the beautiful and colorful koi in the pond(over 100 of em).Inside of the house was amazing also.Very nicely decorated and supplied with everything we needed to prepare our meals.We provided the food and drinks...everything else was there.There was ample room for all six of us seniors,and we enjoyed being able to stay in the same location instead of each renting a room at a hotel and spending more moneyRecommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Our family of 6 adults and 6 kids (9-18) had a fantastic week enjoying the house we rented in Merlin, Or. Couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy each others company. The grounds were fantastic and the house was clean and well maintained. The kids loved feeding the koi fish and spending all their time in the pool and hot tub. We also enjoyed taking a one day white water rafting down the Rogue River and going to the Oregon Caves. Thank you Delores & Dick for opening up your house for everyone to enjoy. We always use vacation rentals for our vacations and wild rogue oasis was , by far, the best ever! Pics were great but home was even better when we arrived! Extremely clean, comfortable and beautiful. Koi ponds with boardwalk, waterfalls,landscaping was incredibly beautiful and relaxing...Pool was awesome and enjoyed by all, lovely hot tub & outdoor dining. Dolores & Dick were great....considerate and so helpful when needed...we can't wait to return and HIGHLY recommend this home!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: Dick and Dolores have been successful business owners of a small manufacturing business in the area for over twenty five years. Now in their retirement years they put Dick’s creative genius and Dolores’ managerial and attention to detail to good use in the wonderland of Wild Rogue Oasis.
Why the Owner Chose Grants Pass:
Wild Rogue Oasis was Dick's & Dolores' residents for eight years before they decided to share it's uniqueness as a vacation rental in 2007. Dick & Dolores converted part of their shop (secluded away from the rental) into an apartment as their full time residents as landscaping of this magnitude requires on site caretakers.
