The reason for our stay - Three best friends getting together for our annual girls get-away. The cottage was perfect. We floated and tanned on the lake, We thoroughly enjoyed the hot-tub and the location was perfect for long morning walks. We were very impressed with how well the cottage was stocked with supplies and extras. During our week we prepared some of our meals at the cottage and we also took avantage of dinners and shows in Branson. We had plenty of options for shopping. As far as cleanliness, and comfortability we rated the cottage a 10. (1 being the lowest 10 the highest). On the evenings we chose to stay in, we were entertained with the games provided at the cabin. The cost of was very reasonable and we would definitely return. We highly recommend this cottage for anyone wanting it all. Thank you, we had a wonderful time.

We had such a great trip to your cottage! Everything was so clean and perfect! The setting is so peaceful and serene! Thanks for the wonderful stay and we will stay here every time we come! Just got back today from our trip to this wonderful rental. All I can say is wow! Took the kids for spring break having never been to the area. I wanted time with my kids away from the hustle and bustle of the daytime activities without the long drive to some remote place- I found it! Talk about first class! We had a wonderful time in Branson each day and then made the short drive to our house by the lake with nothing but peace surrounding us. Cozy, clean, remarkable, beautiful house on the lake! I will be back! The time that I spent with my kids here was priceless! The Allred's- Wichita Falls, TX

Our recent stay at the Tall Tree Cottage was absolutely wonderful!! We loved the property and all the attention to details. The seclusion was wonderful and we so enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. We will definitely be back sometime.

A great place for a family retreat. Everything was great. I recommend it highly. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Great place to hike, have a camp fire, sit in hot tub, etc. Excellent amenities. Very well taken care of.

We will definitely be back! The cottage is gorgeous and well stocked. We loved being able to walk a few feet from the deck and skip rocks on the lake and build campfires. If you want a place that is secluded and relaxing, yet just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Branson, this is the place to go!!!

Thank you for allowing us to spend a few days at this peaceful cottage. We saw the site on-line, but the pictures and description don't do it justice. We felt at home and enjoyed the seclusion. A high point was definitely the fire at night, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. We hope to return for another of our mother's birthday -we were celebrating her 80th!

Your home is wonderful! We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful setting for our spring break getaway. The kids love the fire pits, hanging out by the lake and soaking in the hot tub. We loved having grown-up time on the deck, drinking our coffee and listening to all of the birds. We are hard pressed to leave but we are already making plans to come back. We had a wonderful time staying at the TTC. We vacation with my parents each Thanksgiving week and this house is the cleanest and nicest furnished rental we have had in several years. We enjoyed the seclusion and the walk to the lake was easy. We made multiple trips a day up and down to the shoreline. We spent time on the strip, historic downtown and a Kimberling City. The scenic train was not that scenic this late in the season but strongly suggest you finding the Magnificent Variety Show. Another great holiday vacation and birthday celebration for us to remember for years to come! Happy Holidays!

Our two teenage daughters are on a cruise with the grandparents, so we decided to take a little trip of our own with our three younger children. We're not sure who got the better deal! What a lovely cottage and beautiful setting. The boys spend so much time down by the lake, throwing rocks and swimming. My 31/2 year old is crying because she doesn't want to leave. Thank you sooo much for opening your cabin to us! Our 6 days were spent at Silver Dollar City, Dixie Stampede, Branson Belle and shopping at the Landing. Our favorite day was renting a beautiful pontoon boat from Cricket Creek Marina and spending the day on the lake fishing, tubing and swimming. We had an amazing Memorial Day weekend at the Tall Tree Cottage. It's an increidble place tucked away in the woods on the shore of Table Rock Lake. We were close enough to the Branson attarctions and yet far enough from it all. It was a restful break; and the cottage is wonderful - I would highly recommend it.

House is as advertised… Very clean and great condition. If you are looking for a get away from the crowds but still not too far from activities this house is it. Wild life could be seen right in the yard. We saw several deer including a fawn that was only a few days old, turkey, squirrels and birds of all kinds on the deck feeder. We sat on the deck at dusk and listen to the whippoorwills … I would recommend to friends and family.

As we were driving here up and down hills and around curves, I was thinking this is the boonies! But when we arrived at the cabin and walked inside, it was WOW! We shopped, saw the Legends, and cruised the Showboat Branson Belle (what a meal!) We spent our evenings grilling, eating in and playing Aggrevation. This is a beautiful and relaxing place. We plan on coming back in a couple of years! This lake is clear, nothing like the lakes in Southern IL. God bless.

The Tall Tree Cottage was very relaxing and exactly what we were looking for in our weekend get-a-way. We will be returning sometime when it gets warmer outside. I would have loved to have a fire down by the lake, but was just to cold for that. We did spend alot of time in the hot tube watching it snow. It was beautiful! You have a awesome set up there. Can't wait to return. For anyone looking for a relaxing get-a-way...this is the place.

This is exactly what I pictured when I told my friends I wanted a weekend away in a cabin for my bachelorette party. When we walked in we were so shocked at how perfect the cottage was for our getaway. Eight of my best friends came to celebrate my "last fling before the ring". We spent the first night in and highly enjoyed the hot tub and deck. The weather was great for the middle of January. On night two, we hit The Landing and had a great time. My friends went above and beyond to ensure it was a great time. The cottage was perfect and the weekend was too short. We will definitely keep this in mind for future girl weekends!

What a great place to stay! Oura family had a wonderful time staying at the cottae. We especially enjoyed hot tubbing in the snow, taking walks along the lake and relaxing in front of the fireplace. This is a beautiful home! During our stay, we also encountered some wildlife - a 6 pt. buck, a doe, lots of birds and even a bald eagle. What a delight! Our family had a fabulous time here and hope to return again soon. We will have many fond memories to bring back to KC with us; including the snow falling on Christmas Eve, watching our 6 mo. old daughter enjoy her 1st Christmas, and opening presents on Christmas morning around the tree. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable and providing so many accommodations. Hanging the stockings and having a Christmas tree up was a true treat! Thanks again! Branson was our destination spot between Michigan and Texas. OMG...Have you ever looked at listings and were disappointed when you got there? Well, NOT at Tall Tree Cottage- this facility was actually BETTER than the listing! First of all, it was just what we wanted- a quiet, woodsy location that had lake access. Secondly, it was large enough for the six of us and beautifully decorated. Our family enjoyed quality family time by utilizing the hot tub, walking down to the lake, cooking together, playing cards, and just relaxing. The weather was cold while we were here so we didn't feel the need to venture out too much. We did take in: *The Jim Stafford show which everyone in our group (ages 17 - 80) all enjoyed * The 5-10 Store in Old Branson (plan to be in here a long time!) *The Cosmic Caverns (64 degrees year round!) We hope to make it back to Branson during the tourist season when there are more available shows and we can enjoy the lake more. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

What a wonderful surprise this was. Peaceful, quiet and a small piece of heaven. We loved everything about Tall Tree Cottage. Plenty of towels and all the small appliances and cookware we could want or need. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Branson was just a short drive with plenty to do. We highly recommend staying here!

Our stay was exactly how we envisioned. It was quiet, beautiful, and very romantic. We haven't even left and we have already recommended the cottage to all of our friends and family. *Things we highly recommend you do / visit during your stay... eat a burger at a little "hole in the wall" called "Restaurant" just past the scenic overlook before table rock dam on Hwy 165 go for a hike in the Ruth and Paul Henning conservation area. Derek & Jennifer, I had a wonderful girls weekend with my 82 year old grandmother, sister, aunt, and stepmom at the cottage. You had thought of every detail. Our favorite parts were sitting in the hot tub with a glass of wine & looking at the amazing scenery. We also enjoyed a campfire where we roasted hot dogs & made smores. July 21, 2008 Thank you, thank you, thank you! Opening your beautiful cottage to us really made our daughters first trip to Kanakuk even more of a treat! After her first week away from home, it was so nice for her to come here and relax with us over the weekend. We all had a wonderful time on the lake and hanging out here as a family ! We were joined by sister, her husband and baby as well as my mother. The 8 of us had more than enough room and were so impressed by your attention to detail. You have not missed one thing! I can easily say that we look forward to seeing you again next year for our annual Kanakuk trip and hopefully in-between! May 12-16, 2008 The Vices from "Cajun Country" were so impressed with the scenary around the cottage and in Branson. Not surprisingly, our favorite meal was at Landry's seafood restaurant. May 9, 2008 (Repeat customer !) Once again we had a wonderful time at Tall Tree Cottage. We truely enjoyed having the lake so close to the deck (from the flooding this spring). You could here the fish jumping and the water lapping on the "new" beach when boats went by. We had a nice mix of rain and sun making being lazy the right thing to do.
