This condo is amazing. Picture this...12 yards from Sugar beach and directly facing the ocean. Sugar beach spans 5 miles of clean and beautiful shoreline. This is a quiet area. Hear the waves crashing throughout the condo. The condo is located in North Kihei and has been completely remodeled and refurnished including kitchen, bathrooms and bedroom, Tempur-pedic king size bed, comfortable queen sofa/sleeper, ceramic tile, corian countertops and showers.
I have DISCOUNTED the nightly rate for Maui visitors to enjoy. No marketing gimics, compare my prices! The name of the complex is Kihei Beach. The unit is on the second floor and is a 1 Bedroom, 2 Bath. It will sleep 4 people comfortably.

We've dreamed for years of owning a home on the beach on Maui. In March 2010 we made that dream a reality by buying this beautiful condo.
We had made several trips to the islands contemplating where our favorite place was. Kihei Beach Condominimums on Sugar Beach was the place we always came back to.
We are Galen, Cheryl, Laura and Morgan Swisher from rural McPherson, KS. Galen is retired, Morgan is still in highschool and Laura is attending Texas A&M in Galveston studying Marine Biology. You can guess where she found her love for the ocean and marine life. Cheryl still has a few years to work before retiring, so we've got some time before we can think of staying there as long as we want. Until then we're pleased to share our condo with our special guests.

My wife and I travel for work on a weekly basis. We stay at Hilton property's each week. This trip we took a break from the hotel scene and decided on the condo. Now we did do one night at the Waldorf and two in Hana. This condo was unreal. Before I could get the bags in the door, my wife asked if we could be closer to the ocean. Everything from the whales swimming in front of us, to the great sunsets. We are waiting odor the 2013 calendar to be posted so we can book our dates. Thank you for a great stay
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We stayed just a week but wished it could have been much longer! This was our first time to Maui and we made a very good choice on the condo and the whole holiday location! It was wonderful to sit on the lanai early mornings with a coffee and watch whales jumping right out in front of us - WOW! The condo is just the right size for us and had everything we could want. And the bed is awesome! The breeze coming right in off the ocean felt great! We really liked the location too as it is a nice quiet area but close enough to get anywhere in minutes and we enjoyed the farmers market right across the street too. The beach in front is nice to take long walks on to refresh and unwind. We rented a convertable and drove the road to Hana on a beautiful day....what a road I'll say! We also drove up to the crater Haleakala on a misty day which was very neat but a bit scary at times. The Tedeschi Winery down that way is worth checking out and the drive is beautiful....gotta love the taste of the 'Splash'...mmmmm! There is no shortage of beaches to choose from here that's for sure! We discovered just how big the waves can be at Makena Beach (also known as Big Beach) so beware! But the sand everywhere is wonderful. And our weather was perfect...88-90f every day. We bought food for breakfast at condo and some lunches to go from the market and ate out suupers in the evening. There are lots of great choices but if you want a good italian meal check out 'Aroma'. Cool Cats and The Big Wave make great lunch sandwiches too. We also very much enjoyed a whole morning on the 'Frogman 2' boat with a full 2 hours of snorkelling, 1 hr at Molokini and 1 hr at Turtle town, including morning treats and a great sandwich after on deck.....quite a deal! And we saw 3 turtles and lots of fish! The crew was great too. Our whole stay was wonderful....fun and relaxing and adventurous and new all at once! We'll probably come back and would surely consider staying at this condo again. We loved it! It very much help make our vacation most memorable! We miss the sound of the ocean already! Aloha! I am a single mom who just returned from her first trip to Maui - it was a "dream vacation" for myself, my two teenage children, and one of my son's friends. It was a wonderful fun filled 10 days in paradise! And, our condo through VRBO at Kihei Beach Resort was ideal for our family and friend. The website pictures were true to how we found the unit, resort, and beach once we arrived. Everything was clean, in working order, and very comfortable to suit all our needs - one slight problem though . . . . . the king size bed in the bedroom, was almost too comfortable!!!! I didn't want to get out of bed early to go snorkeling, etc. because the bed was so great :-) Having two TVs/VCRs and bathrooms was a very nice feature to suit everyone's wants and needs. The central air conditioning and multiple ceiling fans were refreshing to have after a hot day out in the sun. The clean tile pool is a little small, but the great thing about it is, it's oceanside, so you can watch the kids in the ocean while you get a dip and relax in the nice lounge chairs that are plentiful (not snatched up by early morning, like they are at the big resorts). The beach is wonderful - nice, soft sand. And, the resort location is ideal - besides being oceanfront, and I mean, oceanfront (you couldn't get any closer without being in the ocean), you are centrally located on the island, and conveniently across from the Kihei Farmer's Market that is open every M, W and F with plenty of yummy fruits, veggies, breads, jams, souveniers, etc. And, as an added bonus, the Kihei Canoe Club is right next door for your viewing pleasure each morning as they practice. We had so much fun snorkeling, surfing, parasailing, swimming, horseback riding, and of course, going to a luau - the kalua pig was awesome!!!! In all, we had a fabulous trip that went off without a hitch - I hope someday we'll have the pleasure of doing it again! Mahalo!
