The condo was very nice, and everything was in order. You’re right about that showerhead! We only saw a few raisin-sized tar balls on the beach east of the property, and a few floating in the water, but not enough to keep anybody out of the water. The Summit building appeared to be about 2/3 full, but the parking lot at the Tides was never more than half full, same for the Beach Manor. Restaurants were not packed as usual. We called the Marina Café Friday at 4:00 and made reservations for four at 7:30 with no problem. Same with Café 30A a few days before. Traffic on 98 was lighter than normal this time of year too.
