My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Maria's house for the month of November, 2011. The house and the development were not only as advertised, but we found both even better than our expectations! We have rented many homes throughout the sun belt and this has been our best find so far. Maria was fantastic to work with and we are hoping to spend a couple of months a year in this beautiful location in the future. The property is very well maintained as is the entire veranda development and the location is only a couple of minutes from I-75, although after entering this gated community you would think you were miles from the nearby attractions of Sanibel, Captiva and Fort Myers. We would recommend this property very highly and our best recommendation is that we plan to stay here as often as possible in the future.

The natural beauty and adventure of winding bike & walking trails through 100-year-old Oak tree canopies as well as kayaking the lazy Olde Orange River...or a day at the beaches & shops & golf courses of Sanibel, Captiva or Ft. Myers just 20 to 30 miles away. And at the end of any day...relax in your private home with private (heated) pool and spa overlooking a beautiful sunset throught the Nature Preserve. A perfect end to any day.

We stayed her for a month and I didn't want to leave. The property was beautifully decorated and the photos represented the property well. I really enjoyed the bike paths and kayaking along the orange river. Four new bikes were provided and the kayaking was free. We ate at the restaurant and had 2 1/2 pound lobsters at a buffet with other fish - mouthwatering! We don't play golf but there are 2 highly rated golf courses in the complex. The pool and spa area was totally private and relaxing. The heater and controls were located in the house, so it was very convenient. The only amenity I would have liked would be better bed linens and also a 'lighter' blanket. There was only a heavy bedspread or heavy blanket on the bed. Would have like cotton and better pillows. Other than that, it was an outstanding vacation.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Stayed in this Villa for 3 weeks in August 2009. Excellent accommodation, very comfortable with high standard of facilities. Benefits from being within gated community and very useful supermarket 'on-site'. Highly recommended - it's on our re-visiting list.
