This was the ideal place to stay in Savannah. It offers a location that is far enough away from the hustle and bustle to allow for a nice, quiet peaceful setting but still close enough to all of the local attractions, restaurants and bars to reach them quickly. We found the two bikes a great way to see a lot of the area in a very short amount of time. There are local coffee shops, stores and restaurants within a block of the Carriage House and Forsyth Park is literally a few houses away. The Carriage House is appointed with comfortable furniture and quality sheets and linens. We experienced a neat, clean and well organized setting. Heather did a great job of showing us around the Carriage House and providing us a map of the area that included the locations of her favorite places. She also offered to make herself available if we needed anything during our stay. We will certainly consider another stay at the Carriage House if we visit Savannah again.

Attended a wedding at the park and stayed here. Very private and quiet but close to the park and wedding venue. Neat, clean, all necessary amenities and conveniences. It was just right. Walked to coffee shop for breakfast and strolled to downtown to see the city. Would enjoy staying again just to hang out near the park.

The East Park Carriage house is well-decorated and cozy with many amenities which make guests feel special and most comfortable. The location is great since it is so close to Forsyth Park and a short walk to the free DOT transportation bus. Plus, 2 wonderful restaurants & a coffee shop are very closeby. Our dog loved the fenced-in yard & the park. We loved our romantic dinners in the courtyard. Since we stayed 2 weeks, having the laundry facilities was very convenient. Heather provides lots of touring information and is most helpful. I would definitely recommend staying at this property!

My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary in Savannah and Charleston, and the Carriage House couldn't have been nicer. We walked everywhere for the four days we were in Savannah, which was a good thing because the restaurants were fantastic. Heather and Wes have a really great property in a perfect location, and the special extras they provided were truly appreciated. We also thought a bigger coffee pot would be nice, but don't change it. For coffee lovers it does get you moving out the door, and we didn't have any trouble finding some nice coffee shops to walk to. Savannah is such a beautiful city and after exploring the Squares, Forsyth Park and the Waterfront, it was great to come "home" and enjoy a glass of wine outside. Thanks you guys for helping to make our trip so memorable. Cynthia and Dennis Spokane, WA

My wife and I stayed at the East Park Carriage House in April 2011 for three days and three nights - in celebration of our wedding anniversary. We have lived all over the country...in San Francisco, CA, Atlanta, GA, the suburbs of New York City and now Richmond, VA...and have traveled all over the world to too many places to name. We rarely (emphasis on that word) have had as positive, pleasurable, comfortable and generally perfect experience as we did with the East Park Carriage House accommodations. The owners/operators have taken care to think of every detail and have created a wonderful space to call "home base" for any length of a visit to the gorgeous city of Savannah. Was there anything wrong at all, you wonder. I can think of only one thing...the coffeepot was too small. And even this minor deficiency ended up a plus...as it compelled me to walk a block up the street to discover the local coffee shop ;-) See...you simply can't go wrong with this property!

Walking through the park each day was so enjoyable. The coffee shop on the next block was a great stop. This property was an excellent choice as it is well appointed, very clean, and the host was more than helpful. I stayed here with my mom and can't wait to return with my husband and my dog. I wouldn't dream of staying elsewhere. Oh yeah, and the recommendation of the Green Truck Pub was spot on!

The Carriage House was charming, very comfortable and clean. Enjoyed sitting in the private courtyard and having coffee in the morning, and wine in the afternoon. I would recommend the Carriage House to friends and relatives. Savannah is a beautiful city, lots to see and do.

This was the second time we stayed in Savannah and I cannot stress what a wonderful experience it has been both times! We stayed in the Carriage House for a week and we had everything we needed and more. The place was wonderful and the owners we so gracious and helpful with anything we requested. We didn't have to worry about anything; the accommodations were fabulous, even our dog felt right at home! The place was wonderful, the bed was extremely comfortable and all the little touches made us feel special. The recommendations and suggestions for places to visit and eat in Savannah are priceless. The owners really know the city and what helps you make the most of your visit. Because we have had such a wonderful stay (both times, once at the Carriage house and once at the Victorian House) we will be back again in October...that's 3 times in the past year. One of the reasons is the fabulous hospitality we received from these owners. I highly recommend staying here and any of the other places these owners run in Savannah. Fabulous service and wonderful accommodations. Kudos!

This was an ideal place for us to stay on a recent trip to Savannah. Our toddler really enjoyed the yard and Forsythe Park. We enjoyed being able to relax. Heather's recommendations for us were right on. We loved Oatland Island, Tybee Island, and the restaurants that she recommended. Thank you.

This is our first visit to Savannah and will NOT be our last. We have had a wonderful time in this fantastic city. It has been a long awaited anniversary trip (17 years). My husband and I have enjoyed the quaint, cozy, and secluded Carriage House. The stay was so thoroughly "attention to detail" we loved all the EXTRAS and the personal care - Thank you, so much for all your help Heather, you are a charm! We actually came because of Paula Dean and to eat at The Lady and Sons, but we found so much more! We loved all the beautiful homes and the "squares" and Forsyth Park. And to top off such a great city the Carriage House made our visit just perfect. Thank you!

We had no idea that the historic district of Savannah was so big. We could have stayed a week. We loved every minute of it here and can't wait to come back. The carriage house was perfect and loved all the extras you offered. We will definitely recommend your place to others.
