CASA MARAVILLOSA, is a three-bedroom, three-bath house with attached garage, and a dramatic cliff-side setting over-looking Zihuatanejo Bay and boat harbor. Enjoy colorful sunsets, viewed from the bedroom terraces, or from the hammocks in the lanai, comfortable places to relax and take it easy! There are two great beaches a short walk from the front door, one on each side of Casa Maravillosa. For fresh water swimming, some nearby hotels offer day-use of their pools for a small fee.
This private home has air-conditioning, and is available for short-term, or long-term rental. The rates are determined by number of guests and length of stay. All rates includes utilities, sattellite DISH TV, DSL-wireless internet, local telephone calls, and housekeeping services. Casa Maravillosa, is clean, comfortable, furnished, and offers great views of Zihuatanejo Bay, Las Gatas and Madera beaches. Mountains surround the bay, fishing village and thriving "El Centro" marketplace.
Casa Maravillosa, is located at the north end of the renown La Ropa beach, where there is something for everyone of any age group to enjoy. Zihua bay is a fun place to swim, and there are many beachside recreations to try, such as para-sailing and water-sport rentals. Massage sessions (on-beach, or in-home) are available, and there are a variety of local day-spas offering wonderful places to relax and enjoy their services.
There are many great restaurants to choose from, some with live entertainment. The closest to Casa Maravillosa, is Restaurante IL Mare. It is one of the best and most popular places to eat in Zihuatanejo, because of the wonderful ocean view, excellent food, and friendly staff. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are also many restaurants located on the beach with tables at the water's edge.
Madera beach, is on the north side of Casa Maravillosa, and is reached by a cobblestone path that goes from street to sand. A lighted promenade begins at the south end of Madera for an easy walk to town, day or night. There are many restaurants and shops to explore along the way, and if one is suddenly ready for their afternoon siesta, home is just a minute or two away because a taxi ride is always easily available.
Flexible rates begin at $200.00 nt/for 2-people. Extra guests are, in general, $50.00 per person, per night, plus state & local taxes of 20%. There are discounts for longer rental terms. Our family business, located in the Pacific Northwest, on the California coast, is designing and building homes for rent, or sale. We started vacation renting our properties in 1994. It is a lot of fun to host travelers and share our homes with them. It is creative and satisfying to develop properties, and make houses into homes. We think of the job as a multi-media art project, on a BIG canvas.
Why the Owner Chose Zihuatanejo
Zihuatanejo is a perfect vacation spot. Easy to get to, great climate, warm and wonderful people to visit with. Many folks speak English, and there are many fun places to see in the area. Travels to Zihuatanejo, for some in our family, began in the 1970's. About five years ago, we started visiting Z, at least once a year, and eventually found what we felt was an incredibly special home to buy. It is a clean and comfortable house, in a great location, with awesome ocean-front views. One day we will re-model it to provide an additional apartment, and a swimming pool. Someday we hope to be living there several months of the year, enjoying the beach and lovely community of Zihuatanejo.

Boat, beach, swim, surf, so many fun things to see and do, all within walking, or taxi distance. Probably 1000 restaurants to choose from, for any budget, simple or fancy.
