Our beautiful Cedar-sided home sits on a secluded lot with one of the best ocean and mountain views in Anchorage. We have a large kitchen fully supplied with anything you would need to make your own meals while on vacation at our house. Enveloped in huge windows, this is probably the room you'll spend your most time in as you sip your coffee and drink in the view.
With over 3,000 sq ft of living space there is plenty of room to relax AND play. Our large sun deck is comfortably furnished with handmade Nicaraguan hammocks, comfy chairs and table for outdoor dining, and hosts the most spectacular ocean and mountain view found on this side of the Hill.
The entertainment room has a Television with all the works, our personal DVD selection will be available for your use, a new Foosball table and board game/puzzle table for some fun competition.
The four bedrooms are fully furnished and tastefully decorated. The master bedroom is on the top level of the house, outfitted with a queen bed and private bathroom- this is one of the most beautiful rooms in the house during the summer. The two bedrooms on the main floor have queen beds and access to a shared bathroom. The fourth bedroom is on the above-ground basement level with a queen-size bed as well. This is located on the same floor as the entertainment room, making it an excellent room for teenagers or kids.
With easy access to the Seward Highway you can be downtown in 18 Minutes where you can rent bikes to ride the coastal trail, visit the famous Satuday Market for souvenirs or just sit back with a drink on the porch at Snow Goose Restaurant and watch the sun evade setting. 30 Minutes to the south is Alyeska Ski Resort in the small town of Girdwood where you'll find all levels of hiking trails and can eat lunch at the top of the Tram.

Our stay in your home was wonderful. The home was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary tools To prepare home cooked meals for our Soldier Stationed at Fort Richardson. The views were awesome, we have tons of photos to prove it. We appreciate the Use of the laptop. The only suggestion I would make is to have a TV or a radio on The main floor, morning coffee and world News goes hand in hand.

Good Afternoon Brad: Your house was a perfect place to stay for the end of our Alaskan cruise adventure. All nine of us were comfortably situated throughout your house and the fully equipped kitchen provided us the opportunity to cook our meals at the end of the day while enjoying the view from your deck. Your place was very clean on arrival and I trust we also left it in an acceptable condition upon our departure. As an added bonus, a moose decided to join us in your back yard for approximately 30 minutes and feast from the trees and bushes on your property. That event certainly added to our holiday. I would definitely recommend your house to others who may be seeking accommodation for a large group of friends. Thanks again for sharing your house.

It's a beautiful setting and could be a very nice home. Unfortunately, maintenance is in dire need throughout the house. Neither the front door, or the entry door from the "mud room" would latch. A gentle push and the doors would pop open. Locking the deadbolt is a must to secure the door. I'm not sure if there was a door in the house the operated properly. It seems all hung up or had problems latching. Other areas appeared incomplete. Trim missing, exposed insulation, toilet shim visible, missing exterior siding, exterior trim warped and water damaged, tile work in one bathroom missing, etc. You cannot walk in the house without the people on the floor below hearing you. The floors really squeak a lot. I'm use to single story homes so I may be highly sensitive to this but it was obvious to all in our party. Now for the positive. It served our needs sufficiently for the party of our size. Essentially, we used it as a home base and ventured out in multiple groups, joining back up at the property a day or two later. Gatherings in the evenings were great in this space. It has a nice kitchen with all the gadgets you may require. The dining room table can seat 10. Large pantry space and frig if you plan to stock up on groceries as we did. The deck off the back overlooking Turnagin Arm provides spectacular views and is a great gathering place. We spent a lot of time out there. The gas grill was very nice and proved useful. The landlords were always responsive and courteous but they need to wrap up some of these loose ends before I could recommend it to anyone. Hopefully, they will do so. The property has tremendous potentail.

We rented this unit in June 2009 and loved it. Fantastic Views of Turnagin Arm and Potter Marsh from the large deck. Only minutes from Anchorage. House has lots of room for a family to spread out since it has 3 levels. Kitchen is very well equipted for cooking. We met the owners while we were there and they are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this unit.

This house is very secluded which is awesome... Very quiet! Proximity to hiking trails is unbeatable while still being close to the ammenities of the city. Very spacious house, comfortable beds, feels just like home! Stunning views of the gorgeous mountains in the Alaska Range from almost every room in the house. I would definitely recommend staying here while you are vacationing in Alaska.
