Location, Location, Location! This spacious 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home is located 1/10 OF A MILE past the entrance to Ski Beech. We are the second parking area past the entrance and about 1 mile from the Beech Mountain Club -swim, golf, and tennis areas. In the winter months, enjoy amazing views of the surrounding mountains. In the summer relax in the hammocks on the decks surrounded by nature or have outdoot fun with the Beech Club Membership.
The floor plan is perfect for accommodating families. With over 1,680 square feet, our home has four bedrooms; one King with private full bath, one Queen and 2 rooms with 2 separate twin beds in both rooms. All of the bedrooms are located on the same floor which is the lower level of the house. The master suite and the queen room both have new sliding glass doors with access to the lower level balcony. We also have a washer and dryer on the bedroom level. Three of the bedrooms have TV’s with cable; the master has a DVD player attached. The master and queen bedrooms have universal docking stations. One of the twin rooms has a Play Station 2 with 2 controllers and rated "E" games for family enjoyment.
The main floor has an open floor plan with two more large sliding glass doors which includes a large living room with a stone gas fireplace, dining room, a well-equipped large kitchen with very large breakfast bar, and a half bath. Wood Decking surrounds the house on the upper level and the lower lever is half around on the wooded side of the property.
We have two parking areas with enough parking for 4 cars; one area is on the paved road and the other is at the bottom of the property with man made steps up to the house (they are very neat). Everyone that has come into our house has said that they feel like they are in a tree house. We have spent a lot of time working to make it the perfect mountain retreat. We have hired the best cleaning team on the mountain to make sure that your stay is comfortable and relaxing.
We are conveniently located on Beech Mountain Parkway near Fred’s, sledding hills, ski rentals, and everything Ski Beech. Beech Mountain offers numerous year-round activities. Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding, ice skating and sledding (home includes several sleds). In the warmer months, enjoy golf, tennis, swimming, fishing and white water rafting.

4 Wheel Drive is Strongly recommended during the winter months.
Beech Mountain is also close to some of North Carolina's top attractions including Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, The Blue Ridge Parkway (and Linn Cove Viaduct), Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, Tweetsie Railroad and The Blowing Rock. The Biltmore House in Asheville, NC is about two hours away.

Great Escape Review Submitted: June 14, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009 My wife, myself, and a couple of friends, had the priviledge to stay in this unique home. All of us are appoaching 60 yrs. young, and rode our motorcycles to get there from Fl. It is even more than we expected from the listing, All was provided, we wanted for nothing. The mountain provided, wonderful temperature, abundant widlife, a great club house and amenities, and of course Fred's store with a GREAT staff, and restaurant, to mention a few things. Would we revist, absolutely!!!! Our security deposit even beat us home, how awesome is that!

Dear Dawn, We had a wonderful stay in your home and loved the decor. The weather was a bit rainy but we did get to tube at Sugar Mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed the Playstation and big screen TV when the weather was not great. Our kids are ready to learn to ski next winter so I am sure we will be booking again in 2009/2010 winter. Dear Dawn, I have been meaning to send you this email for weeks. I'm sorry that it took me so long to finally let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your lovely home at Beech Mountain. We had so much fun! My husband and I and our two children enjoyed the weekend with my husband's buddy from graduate school and his family. The guys are rarely able to get together anymore because of their busy work schedules so they had a blast catching up. His buddy's family lives in Charlotte and your home was an easy drive for everyone. The layout of the house worked great too! The children were fascinated with the spiral staircase. Your home provided a warm, cozy atmosphere for all of us to feel comfortable and relaxed. We loved that the bedrooms were all on the lower level. Our children took the room with the two twins against the walls and no television as they are a little younger. They thought they were having a slumber party! The other couple's children are a few years older and they enjoyed sharing the room with the Play Station and there was enough room for a pack-and-play. The five kids piled in to play video games and watch movies. I can't tell you how delightful it was to see all their smiling faces as they watched Aladdin after a long day of ski school. It was so cute! We found the kitchen to be well stocked and the eating area big enough for everyone to enjoy breakfast together. We also used the kitchen table for the kids crafts and the adults to play late night board games. Cooking dinner together and playing games on our friend's Wii Station proved to be a favorite for the kids and adults. I loved the open floor plan so that we could cook and enjoy each other's company at the same time. Especially on Super Bowl Sunday. Thanks for giving us full use of any items in the house. We have been to many houses that do not provide anything, so we ended up overpacking. It was nice to know that if we return next year we do not need excess items. We loved the convenience of your home to the ski area. We only wish that we had had some snow. It happened to be the warmest winter weekend in years. But, that's okay. We had lots of fun snow tubing at another reosrt close by and had a great Cajun lunch at a really neat restaurant/general store near the local college ten minutes away. I can't remember the name of it, but it was delicious. Thanks for helping make our weekend so special. I kids commented that they enjoyed staying at "the cabin" the best of everything we did. I especially appreciated the ease and convenience of planning our stay. PayPal was a cinch to use and you were especially prompt on returning our rental deposit.
