This unit is an ocean view studio with a private balcony lanai. Inside you will find a spacious studio with a full kitchen, a full bath and a large living room complete with a queen bed and queen sofa sleeper. Central Air Conditioning along with furniture and appliances and ammenities make the stay comfortable. It is the perfect unit for singles, couples, and small families. Please note: This is a NON-SMOKING Room.
The Kaanapali Shores is a "top rated" OCEANFRONT resort. Upon arrival, one will notice the beauty of the lobby and of the gardens. The lush gardens and streams are breath taking. It is truly a beautiful resort perfect for weddings, honeymoons, or any special occasion. You could enjoy a meal and beverages at the oceanfront restaurant or you may be served poolside. The main pool is also oceanfront and has a jacuzzi. There is a second pool and jacuzzi closer to the gardens and hotel lobby.
The private balcony lanai is a nice place to relax and read or enjoy a meal. You may also relax poolside or watch the sun set on lounge chairs on the beach.
The Kaanapali Shores has two fully staffed activity desks from which you can schedule your Maui activities. Also, you may enjoy in-room coffee or at the lobby coffee bar. The extensive hotel amenities at the resort also include a mini mart, shops, gym, game room, tennis courts, gas BBQs and tables, etc...Washers and dryers are on-site on several floors.
Whale watching season runs from December thru March. From Kaanapali Shores beach looking Northwest toward the island of Molokai or looking southwest toward the island of Lanai guests can have a nice view of the Humpback whales during their spawning season. There is excellent snorkeling and even boogie boarding directly in front of the resort.
A Shopping Center can be found directly across the street. In the center are several places to eat: Subway, Pizza, Mexican food, Greek food, etc. There are also several shops, a dry cleaner, and a full grocery store- a perfect location to the resort!
Whaler's Village shopping center is only a few minutes away and the town of Lahaina is only a few miles away.

Why the Owner Chose Kaanapali Shores
We simply love Kaanapali Shores and its close proximity to world-class snorkeling, to convenient shopping and restaurants, and for its breathtaking views of Lanai and Molokai. The beach area in front of the resort is perfect to suntan as is the poolside lounge area with walk-up bar or even waiter service. We try to visit during national holidays as fireworks are allowed. We cannot launch fireworks where we live in California.
