Why stay in this unit instead of the many others in Keystone's village? One reason: Dakota Lodge is the most requested location in River Run Village by returning guests.
Keystone's River Run Village sits at the base of Keystone Ski Resort. It is the most desirable location in all of Keystone due to the village environment with numerous restaurants, night life, and close proximity to the mountain. River Run is the gateway to Keystone's three mountains containing 121 runs, terrain parks, snowcat tours, and night skiing - all accessible via the Sky Run Gondola. The gondola is just a five minute walk from this Condo!
This cozy unit is a one bedroom, one bath that sleeps four. Two will sleep comfortably in the queen size bed in a private bedroom. If you need another bed, pull out the sofa bed in the living room and fall asleep watching the fire in the fireplace! There is a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful view of the mountain.
This unit is located in Dakota Lodge - the most popular of all the River Run lodges due to the beautiful heated pool and hot tubs as well as the close proximity to the gondola. The convenience to the Village, gondola, and apres-ski recreation can't be beat!
Included with this property is a full assortment of resort amenities: front desk service, free wi-fi Internet, two large hot tubs and heated pool, linen service for stays 3 days or longer, walking distance to several bars and restaurants, and plenty of shops!
Being located in Summit County, you also have quick access to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, A-Basin, and Vail ski resorts. All but Vail are accessible via a free shuttle bus that leaves from the front of Dakota Lodge. A-Basin is only five miles away and offers a great mountain experience reminiscent of skiing in the early years before the large resorts came into existence.
In the Summer and Fall, Dillon Lake offers a variety of water activities. By car, it's only 10 minutes away. Miles of hiking and fishing are also available close by for summer mountain enthusiasts. Cycling for all skill levels is available out the back door - extreme mountain biking on Keystone's world famous downhill course, family bike paths for all ages, or cycling to the top of Loveland pass.
If you get tired of the constant sunshine or happen upon a rare rainy day, you can indulge in shopping and dining at nearby Frisco and Dillon. Both offer a wide assortment of restaurants, bars, and outlet shopping.
No smoking is allowed in the condo and pets are not allowed.
