This house is great!! It has totally updated everything and is in perfect shape. Daniel and Claudia are fantastic people and very accomodating. The unit has boogie boards, a surfboard, bikes, beach toys and even wetsuits (even though we brought our own). The home has a great cozy feel and you're a short drive to LaCosta shopping and restaurants as well as beautiful downtown Encinitas. The beach is beautiful and the home just adds to the overall enjoyment of your weekend. The great room is situated in a way that just pulls everyone together and allows for space yet facilitates family interaction. You'll love it!!

We loved our stay here! Everything about it was perfect. The photos only tell part of the picture. It was very clean, well maintained and had a feel like home. The neighborhood was quiet and we loved the back yard. There are so many extras for beach activities you don't need anything else. The owner was very helpful and nice. I would deffinately reccomend this property to friends and family. I would also return again without reservation. Thanks so much to the owners for the use of this property.

We couldn't have asked for a better rental home in Encinitas! Daniel and Claudia were wonderful to work with: friendly, professional, accommodating, and quick to respond to my questions. The house was beautiful, well stocked, and immaculately clean. The beds were so comfortable that I had to look under the sheets and write down what we were sleeping on! It was a perfect rental for us and our toddler, with every single thing we needed, and a great, fenced-in back yard for everyone to hang out. I would highly recommend this rental home to anyone wanting to stay in the Encinitas area. Daniel and Claudia can be sure that we'll be back!

We had a great time in this house. The house is beautiful and so is the location. I don't want lo leave. The beds are so comfortable, and the carpets are the softest I've ever felt! I love it here! Thank you, Daniel and Claudia, for sharing your lovely home with us! Our 9 day stay with our two kids and 3 grandparents in town has been fantastic. We were delighted to be able to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner with the extremely well-equipped kitchen. This home was so quite and cozy, so well-decorated and so close to everything. We enjoyed several afternoons at Moonlight Beach and it was a short drive to Legoland. The beds were super comfortable and we loved having a fireplace and laundry. As former VRBO owners, we really do appreciate the time you both took to make this house as homey and comfortable as possible. We would recommend this house to anyone and will definitely plan to rent from you again on our next trip to California. Happy Holidays to you!

What a lovely home! We enjoyed our stay here. We were so pleased to find that this home had everything we could need for our vacation. We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is equipped with most anything we could need, and the location is Fantastic. We really enjoyed the kitchen and the yard in particular, and the way the house is set up to be so "open" with the beautiful, cool ocean air coming in.

This is a fabulous house. Not only is it beautifully decorated and immaculate, it is comfortable as well. I have never slept very well away from home but this was the exception. Even though my husband and I are used to a king bed, this queen had such a comfortable mattress we didn't even notice the difference in size. The layout of this house was also perfect for us as there was a bedroom on the first floor. My 72 year old husband has balance issues and not having to climb stairs was important to him. This place is definitely at the top of the list if we ever need to rent in Encinitas again. Thank you Claudia and Daniel for providing such wonderful accommodations. Claudia, thanks for all the recommendations for restaurants and stores in the area. I really enjoyed visiting with you when we arrived at the house. You are a charming and gracious lady.

This house is fabulous! It is charming, spacious, clean, and stocked with virtually every conveniece you could ask for or need. It is close to the beach, local shops and restaurants - not to mention a WONDERFUL donut shop within walking distance. It is aproximately 10 minutes to Legoland, which was our main purpose for the trip, so that was super convenient. The house has a very nice privately fenced side yard, patio with fire pit, wet suits for use, washer and dryer, beach chairs, high quality towels and bedding and SUPER comfy beds. We would stay here again without hesitation! Thanks Daniel and Claudia for the use of your lovely rental house - we truly enjoyed our time in California!!

This was a great place to stay. Not sure what we liked the most - the house is immaculate and spacious, the beds are comfortable, the private backyard is an added benefit and the location is perfect. Loved the fact that we could walk to the beach. I hope that we can come back again, thank you!

We were so spoiled to be in such a great home that really had everything we needed. With our two toddlers they played in the backyard while we bbq. The home is fully equipped with great appliances and all of your household necessities. It even had a playpin, crib and a highchair. Home is really in mint condition and was just a few blocks to the beach. We loved the home and location. We will be returning.

We had a wonderful vacation! The house was perfect for our family, very nice kitchen and yard. The crib in the extra bedroom was so nice to have for the baby. Only a mile from Pannikin Coffee. We're looking forward to next year.

We stayed at this lovely home in November 2008. It was such a great experience that we will use VRBO to rent a home for each of our vacations. The accomodations were wonderful! The home is beautiful and comfortable. We were very impressed with the quality of this home. The added benefit of bikes, boogie boards & wet suits made this a very fun and economical vacation. This house was all we had dreamed of and more. The house was beautiful, clean, and full of extra amenities. The backyard was wonderful and quiet and we were often outside enjoying the sunshine. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had plenty of room and felt right at home. The owners are pleasant and very helpful. We would all go back for a another relaxing vacation.

This is an amazing house. My husband, son and I just returned from a fantastic week in southern California. This is by far the nicest and cleanest (immaculate is not an overstatement) house we have ever rented through VRBO. Location is outstanding - the beach is a block away and the yard was perfect for our 3.5 year old. Also, the Leucadia donut shop is a block away.... don't miss Mr. Tom's donuts. Even our son loved it. High praise from a toddler who saw Legoland, the San Diego Zoo, planes, trains, etc. When we asked what he liked best about our trip he repeatedly said "the house!" We will definitely be back. Claudia and Daniel were responsive, informative and extremely easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great Home. Very well kept, great yard, wonderful decor. Large rooms, easy access to highways. We spent our wedding week there and it was very relaxing. I would definately reccommend this home for you next vacation.

Our family of four spent Christmas week at this incredible house. The design is flawless and the decor is incredible for a rental house. We loved the location which is steps to the lovely beach and the two-minute drive to I-5. The town of Leucadia is residential and quiet unlike Mission Beach which was a big plus for us! No crowds to worry about and we had our own designated off-street parking spaces. The owners supply surfing gear and our kids loved attempting to surf but were pleased to find boogie boards as well. I have never rented a house with all Kohler fixtures in the bath and kitchen. This is a well-built, beautiful home. Our San Diego trip was even better because of all of the amenities this house offers including a stereo set up for your IPod, and an HDTV. Our family would come back in a flash! WOW! The pictures do not do this place justice. We were in town for our sons homecoming from Iraq and when we walked in, well, lets just say we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed for a total of 10 days and it felt like home. My husband & I have already decided that whenever we need to be in SoCal, this is the place for us. The house was well stocked, had surfboards & wetsuits (which we did not use, but they were there)and a canoe/kayak and beach bikes. Easy access to freeway & beach. I can go on & on. I highly recommend this place & the owners are even nicer. MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS NOW, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!
