Welcome to Paradise! Our home sits on the beautiful North Beach of Isla Mujeres just off the coast of Cancun. North Beach is the finest beach in Mexico! Safe for swimming, with gorgeous turquoise blue water that only the Caribbean can offer. Guests actually wait on the beach and applaud each day when the sun goes down.
Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and living room home has everything you need. Our balcony sits off the master bedroom and living area. It provides you with the perfect spot to enjoy your coffee, evening sunsets and it provides a panoramic view of the beach and water below. Our full kitchen will let you prepare any meals you want and our living area has a large flat screen TV for your enjoyment.
Most of the restaurants, bars and shopping on Isla are within a few blocks of our home. Enjoy a different restaurant each night with your most difficult decision being where are we going for tonight's meal. Let our friendly bilingual staff assist you with your dinner plans or have them deliver it right to your room from many of the restaurants on the island. Let our staff set you up for snorkeling, fishing or touring the island by golf cart, they are there to help you enjoy all that Isla has to offer.

We fell in love with Isla Mujeres and especially the North Beach area on a day trip. From that moment on we new we wanted a home on that beach.

We love being on the beach and being within walking distance to most restaurants, bars and shopping. No need for rental car just flip flops and suntan lotion.

This was our 5th trip to Isla, but our first stay at Ixchel and we could not have been happier. The condo was beautifully decorated, maintained and comfortable, with all the ammenities you would expect. The location right on the beach was great and the views from the balcony were spectacular. We watched the sunset from the balcony every night and spent early mornings reading on the balcony, enjoying the quiet of the morning and catching up on our reading. The weather for our entire week was incredible, upper 80's and sunny every day (according to Chris, he is in charge of the beautiful weather!!) The staff was courteous and extremely helpful and whatever we asked for, we were provided with almost immediately. When we walked down to the beach, there was always someone right there to set up our chairs and umbrella and the staff at the Comono restaurant and bar were friendly, and of course, made awesome margaritas! This was our first experience using vrbo.com and Chris and Diane were a pleasure to deal with. Ixchel is right at the end of the street where you can walk to where most of the restaurants and shops are and also close to the supermarket. If you have been to Isla and stayed elsewhere, we highly recommend staying at Ixchel; if you have never been to Isla, don't delay and get in touch with Chris and Diane. Thank you both again for the use of your condo; it was a much-needed vacation from our long, cold Wisconsin winter!
