Couldn't have had a better place to stay and vacation at - better than expected. The condo was beautiful with an amazing view! It's close to Lahaina and other great places for body boarding, surfing and snorkeling. We definetly plan on coming back!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Gorgeous view looking over the pools and out to the ocean. Plenty of amenities supplied--beach towels, Boogie Boards, etc. Washer and dryer a definite "plus". Would definitely recommend this condo if you are seeking a special "get away". Concierge was exteremely helpful in scheduling activities for us.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

This condo was tops! View from the 9th floor was better than expected. The condo is clean and beautifully furnished. The Murphy beds are way more comfortable than a sofa bed and were a very welcome addition! It was convenient to walk not only to the beachfront but also to the grocery store across the street, a local ABC store, a natural foods store and farmer's market. The property where the condo is located is very well maintained with a beautiful lobby and tropical landscape. Kaanapali Beach Rentals was the management company for this condo and they were outstanding. Any and all questions answered. Every staff member we spoke with was warm and welcoming. Aloha spirit was felt as soon as we arrived. Didn't want to leave and I hope to return to this condo again someday soon! Highly recommend this property.

First off, when it comes to staying at a hotel the wife and I are obsessed with cleanliness and decor, and this place didn't disappoint!! The furniture, electronics and appliances are all up to date and made from well known, reliable brands. Other positives, the view is off-the-charts, quiet rooms(we never heard neighbors much but the nightly, migrating birds are a noise trip, and take some getting used to. Location is great too--strip mall across the street from hotel to help fill in the gaps from your big Costco shopping spree--and your just an easy walk to the beach and pool. The two pools get the job done. The hotel's relatively private beach is attached to the world renowned Kaanapali Beach, so the beach will definitely serve your needs well. Couldn't think of any significant negatives worth mentioning, but I had to complain about something without sounding like a relative or friend of the owner...almost every picture or artwork on the wall wasn't level?:)

Great unit - modern amenities - love the Murphy beds. Very nice view from the 9th floor. The pools & grounds are maintained to a very high standard. Only issue we had was: could not get the internet to work!!! Otherwise would have been 5 stars Would definitely return

We loved this condo! Stayed here for five nights with our two teenage children. The decor is beautiful. Loved the tile throughout with the browns and reds. Plenty of room for a family of four. They have added a very large chest of drawers in the living area which was great for the kids clothes. The murphy beds are wonderful.The kids liked having their own bed and they easily fold up into the wall so you could use the living room during the day. So much better than dealing with a sofa bed. The view is incredible from this condo. Just as it is pictured. The condo was very clean and Kaanapalli Beach Rentals were very good to deal with. The only thing lacking here is a place for four people to eat comfortably. There are bar stools you can put around the island but a larger table on the lanai would be great so you could all eat meals and enjoy the beautiful view. If I ever get back to Kaanapalli this is definitely where I will stay again.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Owner response: Thank you for your review! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay in our home away from home. I wanted to address your comments about the table-eating bar. When we purchased the condo, there was a bigger table on the lanai. The problem was that you couldn’t fit four chairs around it comfortably. It was very crowded on the lanai and it was difficult for four people to sit around the table without being jammed up against a wall or railing. We thought about putting a square or rectangular table on the lanai, but then we’d have to do away with the lounge chair which most people want so they can relax and read on, or to just sit on and enjoy the view. There used to be a table for four inside the condo as well, but it too took up a great deal of space and definitely made the condo rather crowded. We therefore opted for the eating bar instead. Four can sit around the eating bar-island reasonably comfortably; we put four stools there for that purpose. I just wanted you to be aware of the logic behind the renovations and the table situation. July 20, 2011 – We had an amazing stay here at Ka’anapali Shores. Absolutely loved your condo! Fantastic redo! Great shower! (I’m jealous it’s not mine).The staff on site are very good. "We had a wonderful time on Maui. There is just so much to do and the island is beautiful. Your condo was perfect! The view from your condo...amazing!!!
