Come relax in Wisconsin’s Northwoods! Situated in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest, our charming two bedroom plus loft Aspen chalet is located on the world-famous Chippewa Flowage in Hayward, Wisconsin. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 1.5 story chalet with sleeping loft was built in 1998 and accommodates up to six guests in its 1200 sq/ft of living space (rates based on 6 occupants).

Aspen Chalet is part of Johnson’s Resort so all the amenities of this world-class resort are available to you! You have docking for your boat, a pool to lounge in the sun and a wonderful, full-service lodge all within a two-minute walk.

Inside Aspen, this chalet has the following amenities: Air conditioning, Direct TV/DVD/VCR, phone, washer /dryer, natural wood burning fireplace. Outside there is large deck, fire pit, charcoal grill, docking for your boat, lake access, a heated pool, and beautiful full-service lodge. Full housekeeping including linens, but bring your own personal towels. Also, pets are welcome!

There is fishing, swimming, boating, water skiing, biking and golf for the spring, summer and fall visitors. Great scenic driving in the immediate area or you can take a day trip up to the North or South Shore of Lake Superior. There are many unique retail shops and antique shops in the Hayward area for a day of fun shopping. Or, you can simply relax and watch the deer from the huge deck.

During the winter there is snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and downhill skiing nearby. There is a main snowmobile trail right near the chalet you can get on and ride the miles of trails that Sawyer County offers. Off the trails there are some fabulous eating places and great bars.

It is the perfect place to get away for a family vacation or groups of people (couples, all guy get-a-way, girls get together). Come relax and enjoy this clean and unique Northwoods Wisconsin escape!
