The sports facilities are accessed via the clubhouse which has shower and toilet facilities and, more importantly, a fridge to keep drinks cool whilst you soak up the sun by the pool. The pool has a separate children’s area ideal for younger members of your party.
Fimbar is located within Crystal Court, a select development of just eleven houses, each with four apartments. The grounds are tastefully landscaped with local shrubs, plants and trees and are entered through a keypad access gate which provides additional security. The apartment is ideally situated to enable the whole island to be explored easily. The beautiful platinum west coast beaches with white powdery sand and calm seas are just a five minute drive away. Here it is possible to snorkel with turtles and enjoy the reefs from the beach. Water sports are in abundance together with excellent diving conditions, however, the beaches are never crowded and there is nothing better than to find your own stretch of pristine sand by the glorious turquoise waters.
For the golfer the Sandy Lane Golf Course and Royal Westmoreland courses are a short drive. Sandy Lane is a golfer's paradise with 3 courses giving 3 very different experiences with The Country Club Course, the spectacular Green Monkey and The Old Nine.
Golf doesn’t get much better than at the world-class 18-hole Royal Westmoreland championship golf course of unrivalled beauty, with views of the shimmering ocean from every hole. The Barbados and Rockley Golf Courses are also challenging and are set amidst tropical surroundings.
The weather is truly tropical with glorious sunshine for much of the year. Even during the occasional shower the local Bajan's refer to the rain as liquid sunshine!
