Located just 10 minutes from the airport, the beaches go on forever and are sparsely populated, giving you freedom from vendors and crowds. Within a 20 minute drive are great restaurants, a salon and massage services, fishing, and the infamous Golden Zone.
The ocean is suitable for swimming, boogie boarding, surfing or long walks on the beach. The pool is BIG and has a swim up bar. This is a great way to see the beautiful sunsets or just stay on our lanai. For those who love the game of golf there is a Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed 18 - hole championship golf course which is spectacular.
This is truly your home away from home. Everything is provided - just bring your clothes and toothbrush. It wouldn't hurt to throw in your favorite CDs, books or any movies you care to watch. There are three flat screen TV’s (but who needs TV when you can listen to the waves crashing on the beach and watch the beautiful sunsets?) and a variety of games as well as an IPOD docking station with speakers. So, load your Latin/Mexican music onto your IPOD before leaving home and you’ll also have a great sound system. There is high speed internet and a Vonage phone so if you need to conduct business you can still do so. Oh, even the pool area has wi-fi available!
You can hop a resort shuttle into town and then a city bus will take you all over town where there is fabulous shopping and lots of fun things to see and do. The open air taxis, called pulmonias, are a great "breezy" way to get around.
The staff is very friendly and speak very good English. They are ready to answer any questions. If you like, we can arrange a driver to pick you up at the airport and take you to the resort. This is definitely the best way to go.

We love golfing, beaching, tennis and sitting by the pool. We love exploring in and around Mazatlan. There is so much to do or you can just relax and never leave Estrella del Mar.
Why the Owner Chose Mazatlan
We love how close it is to Denver. We can be on a plane and 4 hours later be on the golf course or sitting by the pool. Great place to relax and have great salsa and margaritas at the clubhouse!!!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
It is a well equipped condo. The kitchen is well stocked if you like to cook. We have games and a great Bose docking system to play your IPod music. The pool is gigantic.
