MASTER BEDROOM AND BATH HIGHLIGHTS
The master bedroom features a Queen Size bed with 4 pillows, dual side wicker tables with drawers and lamps. This corner bedroom features a wicker dressing table and a full length mirror. All beds (master and guest) are outfitted with sheets and duvet covers. Enjoy the views of the garden and Atlantic Ocean, as well as the wonderful breezes from three windows. The three floor to ceiling closets give you ample room for your clothes and feature slat doors and a ceiling fan. The floors are tiled with have throw rugs.
The master bath features a large stand up shower with glass block and a huge vanity with lots of cupboard space underneath. You’ll love the cross breezes provided by windows on either side. The large mirror will make getting ready that much easier. The floors are tiled. Same features on second bathroom.
GUEST BEDROOM HIGHLIGHTS
The guest bedroom features a Queen Size bed with dual side wicker tables with drawers and 2 lamps. The two guest bedrooms also have three floor to ceiling closets each and feature slat doors. Both bedrooms have two windows with great ocean views lovely breezes and overlook the lush gardens. A dressing table and full length mirror assist you in getting ready quicker. Our Chef’s Kitchen is Domus from Italy and features new stainless steel appliances which include a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer equipped with filtered water and ice, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave and stacked washer/dryer. Smart granite countertops and tiled floors. Fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cook up a storm! You will enjoy the view from the two windows. The kitchen provides one of the two entrances to the apartment.
LIVING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS
The living room offers a lovely leather sofa which makes watching a DVD on the 26” TV great entertainment. You can also listen to the radio or play CDs. The furnishings are a flashback to the old days of Barbados Plantocracy, featuring mahogany end tables with 2 lamps and a coffee table. Admire the ocean views and lush gardens whilst sitting in your lovely whicker chair.
DINING ROOM HIGHLIGTS
Enjoy dinner with your guests at the round mahogany table which sits six. Ceiling fans compliment the living and dining rooms, along with lovely parquet floors and throw rugs. Set the mood with some candles.
READING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS
At the front of the apartment and facing south is your reading room which features a desk in one corner, equipped with ADSL, should you need to keep in touch with the Boss! Better still, relax in the oversized leather chair and read a book or gaze across the patio to the lovely Atlantic Ocean and view the waves breaking on yonder reef, or feast your eyes on the lovely tropical flowers. We didn’t forget the side table to rest your cocktail on! Tiled floors and throw rugs complete the reading room which enjoys windows on both sides.
PATIO HIGHLIGHTS
No doubt this is where you’ll spend most of your time. The patio chairs on the covered 150sq.ft DECK will beckon you to sip a cocktail whilst watching and listening to the magnificent ocean and keeping cool from ocean breezes or taking in the tropical plants in the garden. You will probably enjoy eating out here and lounging on the comfortable chaise lounge which has a cushion and adjustable back.
ROOF TOP HIGHLIGHTS
Last but not least, should you wish to laze at home and sunbathe, we provide you with a chaise lounge and patio chairs on the roof deck which has by far the best view in the house and is a great place to snap a few pictures to take home with you. See Africa from the roofdeck!So quiet and relaxing.
GARDEN HIGHLIGHTS
Mermaid Villa Apartments is situated on half an acre and features beautiful lush tropical gardens, including two lily ponds, a bay leaf tree, lime tree, coconut trees and many verities of tropical palms. We have many hibiscus plants, croutons, silver dollars – to name just a few. We invite you to take a walk around the garden and enjoy it. Sample a coconut from our tree.

Located steps to the world famous Crane Beach, a 10 minute drive to Grantley Adams International Airport and a half hour drive to the capital Bridgetown, Mermaid Villa Apartments is close to all amenities but offers peace and quiet. Six Roads Supermarket is a 10 minute drive. Barbados' oldest hotel The Crane Hotel and Cutters are among your neighbourhood restaurants. Try the local Oistins Fish Fry on the weekends or shop for fruits and vegetables at many nearby vendors. The ice cream van comes by at night! Many sports are available for you in Barbados.

Mermaid Apartments were everything we had hoped for. Situated in a peaceful residential area by Crane beach, the sound of the surf sent us to sleep at night and the cooling breezes from the Atlantic ocean kept us cool. The accommodation was comfortable, spacious and extremely well equipped. Nowhere is that far by car and we explored all over the island during our month's stay, always delighted to be able to return 'home' to the apartment. friends who live in Barbados came to visit and were so impressed they are thinking of renting it for 'local' vacations! A magic spot.

We recently stayed at Mermaid Apartments for a week and enjoyed it very much. The apartment is exactly as represented and is very clean and comfortable. We rented it as a one bedroom, so after we had made our choice of bedroom, the other two were locked off. The apartment is very roomy and especially useful is the glassed in verandah because the property is on the windy side of the island. Here you could open windows to let in as much breeze as you wanted but still be sheltered. There was maid service three times a week and the management company was helpful and readily available to answer questions. This all added up to a very pleasant stay and terrific value for the money. It is only a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach but you do need a car to go anywhere else. The Crane Hotel is a 5 minute drive away and it has several restaurants. There is also a good Bajan Deli closer to the apartment but it is only open during the day. There is a large grocery store 10 minutes drive away. However if you want to visit the main tourist area with its myriad of restaurants and shops, it is a 30 minute drive. We would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quiet and comfortable place to get away from it all.

I have stayed in Barbados many times. I must say our stay at Mermaid apartments was the best. The location was so convenient, the staff at the office was kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and our housekeeper was hard working and thorough. I will be staying at Mermaid again - actually, the very next chance I get !!! What a fantastic experience.

We found everything we needed at Mermaid. Great location, all the ammenities,wonderful breezes,friendly staff,and exellent acomadations.I can't think of anything we could have needed more.I would not hesitate to return and recomend the Mermaid not only for value but location, ease and sheer beauty.
