WOODROCK LODGE is a beautiful furnished home that rests on three plus acres in a wooded private subdivision where all lots are large providing lots of privacy. There is a cleared back yard with swings and playground for kids. A long windy drive takes you to the cabin-like feeling of this 3 bedroom 2 bath.
The home has a beautiful rock fireplace and walls of glass that bring the outdoors in. Sit in the early morning and watch the deer and the squirrels in the back yard and woods.We have a great family of humingbirds too! A serene environment providing the quiet and tranquility of the woods yet just outside the town of Charlottesville. Located off 29 and Burnley Station Road.

I BOUGHT THIS HOME IN 2004 WHEN I WAS VISITING MY NIECE IN CHARLOTTESVILLE. BEING FROM MIAMI, FLORIDA I WAS NOT USE TO THE ROLLING MOUNTAINS,RUSHING STREAMS, AND OUTRAGEOUS OVERALL SCENERY. I KNEW I HAD TO HAVE A HOME UP THERE-IT WAS LIKE LIVING IN A POSTCARD WITH THE WILD DEER RUNNING IN YOUR BACK YARD/WOODS AND THE WILDLIFE THAT JUST DIDN'T STOP! THE FEELING THE HOME GAVE ME WAS ONE OF TOTAL PRIVACY AND SERENITY.. I LIKED THAT THE SUBDIVISION HAD 3+ PLUS ACRE LOTS AND DIDN'T FEEL CONGESTED. IT GAVE ME THE WOODSY QUIETNESS YET CLOSE ENOUGHT TO CHARLOTTESVILLE.THE PROXIMITY TO SEVERAL RESORTS,HORSEBACK RIDING,RIVERRAFTING,WINERIES,CAVERNS,HISTORIC SIGHTS AND FRUIT PICKING ETC....GAVE ME MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR CONTINUOUS FAMILY OUTINGS-WITRH SEVEN CHILDREN I NEEDED THE ADVENTURES!YOU WILL LOVE WOODROCK LODGE!!
