This freshly painted two bedroom (Sleeps 8) two bath Zephyr Mountain Unit, with KING size bed, X-LONG TWIN OVER QUEEN BUNK BEDS WITH TWIN TRUNDLE, QUEEN PULL OUT COUCH and expansive views of the mountains. Overlooking the village we are on the QUIET SIDE of the complex away from the early morning noise of the groomers/machinery & not near the hot tubs that can get noisy late at night. This unit has an outdoor GAS GRILL & 2 sets of adult SNOWSHOES. We also have a 1 bedroom condo directly below this condo that is available to rent.
Winter Park Resort has 2762 acres of skiable terrain, 134 trails and 30 feet of snowfall annually. The Zephyr Mountain Lodge is the only Ski-In-Ski-Out property at Winter Park.
Winter activities include skiing and snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, ice skating, dog sled rides and more.
Although it offers some of the best champagne powder and world class skiing it is more than a winter destination. Winter Park offers the ultimate Colorado vacation experience 365 days a year. Still here as I write this. Starting from the first contact with the owners, they have been a pleasure to work with. Flexible, good information provided about the local area, condo in particular, and the mountain area. The condo was spotless and well appointed with plenty of space for the four of us (adult men). Close to the village making shopping and dining easy. We cooked most of our meals in the condo and it was lacking nothing for meal prep in terms of utensils, pots, pans, etc. The baths are spacious and nice. The heated ceiling lights are a pleasure following a bath or shower. Beds were superb. Very comfortable with great linens. Nice view off the deck, and the bbq on the deck was nice. As far as ski in ski out goes, you almost trip over the Zephyr Express lift leaving the building. A very short walk (less than 100' or so and you ski right down to the lines. By the way the lift lines were always short and well managed by the Winter Park staff. Ski in was a little bit of work on the flat coming back to the apartment, but manageable. Carry plenty of speed coming down the Corridor run off Mary Jane. We intend to return in 2011. Note that Winter Park and Mary Jane are great ski areas. Only grumble any of us had was there were a lot of flats requiring poling. Carry speed. Carry speed. Carry speed. But once to the runs they were great. Lots of powder, glade skiing, and steeps. If you want to ski nothing but greens, I think there are better choices in Colorado.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

We have rented VRBO homes on many occasions to mountain & beach areas, but this place was the best we've ever stayed in. Not only was it close and convenient to the mountain activities, it was clean and perfect for our family of 6. It was warm and cozy in extreme cold weather & provided anything and everything we needed for our 6 day stay! The owners were very helpful before our stay and even provided coupons to help with costs during our stay which we greatly appreciated! I would definitely recommend this beautiful, warm, cozy home to anyone wanting to visit Winter Park!
