We stayed at this home over President's day weekend with a group of friends and the house was almost the best part of the weekend (other than the skiing). The home is gorgeous, clean, big, and we loved the fact that each bedroom has its own private bath. We put the hot tub to good use and enjoyed cooking a few meals in the gorgeous and spacious kitchen. Had a blast and would definitely stay in this home again!

We rented the house for a ski getaway at the end of January. It was perfect for our crew of 13 people. There wasnt a bad room in the house! It was spacious, comfortable, with plush bedding/linens, and most importantly CLEAN. We utilized the large kitchen for meals, soaked in the hot tub, played music on the surround sound, played pool/ping pong, and relaxed on the oversized couches! We even all sat down at the large dining table to play board games! Kathy was responsive and helpful with all our needs. We plan to rent this home again in the summer!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Perfect Business meeting retreat

We stayed at this property January 19-22, 2012 and had a great time. It is as advertised and looks as good in person as the pictures present. Kathy was responsive and very helpful during the rental process. The home is right on the Eagle River and just a short drive to Vail or Beaver Creek as well as the town of Edwards.

We came out to Vail to attend a family wedding. We rented this house to share with our son and his family and our daughter and her family. There were 6 adults and 4 small children. We couldn't have been more pleased when we walked in and saw what this house has to offer. It was so much better than we could have imagined. It was so nice to have so many separate areas to either be together in or be apart from each other. We loved the mountain bikes and the great trails. My grandsons love the skate park that they rode the bikes to. We cooked dinner one night for all of my sisters and their familes who had also traveled to Vail for the wedding. They could not believe how beautiful this house was. We loved the seating area down by the river. It was so peaceful. This house was just so much better than having everyone in separate hotel rooms. We could put the kids to bed at night and then have fun watching TV or playing pool or ping pong. I highly recommend this house to anyone who wants the best of everything. Thank you, Kathy, for all your helpful tips and instructions.

What a beautiful home! We came for a ski trip with 11 of us and the home was a retreat in itself. After skiing there was so much room to spread out in the house or be all together in one area. The kids loved the basement! We will definately be back next year. Thank you!

Hi Kathy, we wanted to let you know how much our whole group enjoyed our long Labor Day Weekend at your lovely home! Our group consisted of four couples so the four king bedrooms with bath en suite were much appreciated. All of the gathering spots in the house were more than adequate to accomodate all of us comfortably but there was still plenty of romm to get away if you wanted to. And what a convenient location to be able to walk into Edwards; which several of us did more than once - especially when the sidewalk sales started! Thanks again!!

The house was great! It was one of the most comfortable houses we have stayed and have been doing this group for years. We had kids from a college junior to two kindergartners so the mix and spread of living areas was very advantageous for us. We had the master room and the weather was so nice we were even able to enjoy the river. The little ones like your path and after skiing wanted to go down and skip rocks.

I just wanted to send you a note and let you know how much we enjoyed your house last week in Edwards! It was the perfect setting for us and none of us wanted to leave! We cooked nearly every evening at the house - and also tried out some local area restaurants. White water rafting, hiking in the mountains and Glenwood Springs Pool were all wonderful - and your location was perfect to get to all of them. Thank you for sharing your house with us! It was more stocked than we had anticipated and we had extras of things - which was great! The bikes, too, were fun for everyone. Again, thank you SO much for opening your house up to us and for the great directions and suggestions you sent in advance. I know if we ever get back that way again, we would definitely head your way first!

Hi Kathy, Just wanted to let you know that Mike and I and our family had a WONDERFUL time June 11 - 16 in your lovely and spacious home. The accommodations couldn't have been better for the three adult couples, four grandchildren (ages are 9, 12, 12, and 14), and an almost-two-year-old grandson. Thank you for the use of the porta crib for the little one. The older grandchildren loved sleeping in the bunk room. We all enjoyed sleeping with the sound of the river. Your kitchen was well equipped for the breakfasts, lunches, and two dinners we prepared. All of us and our daughter and her husband, who were staying in a different house, fit comfortably around the dining table. One night we celebrated two birthdays there. Thank you very much for greeting us with a bottle of wine on the kitchen counter! Such a wonderful welcome! We hope to be able to rent your house again in the future. Janet Elling

We stayed at this house over spring break this year. We had three families with kids ranging from age 5 to 21. The layout of the house was great. The older kids took over the basement and the younger made one of the large walk-in closets their playroom. The location is very convienent both to Beaver and Vail. It is close to grocery in Avon and Edwards. Can't wait till next year!

We stayed in this house over the Memorial Day weekend 2008. The house was great, well decorated, gorgeous view off the deck, big and spacious. The kitchen was spectacular, stocked with all your cooking essentials. The owner was very professional and very accomodating, we will definitely be back!!

A great place for a large group. Nicely decorated and well equipped. After a full day of skiing we really were able to relax at the house. Large rooms, plenty of bathrooms and ample closet space. We will rent it again in a heartbeat.

Everything was great! The kitchen is fully stocked and the house has everything. The rooms are very comfortable and we love the pool table and table tennis. Just another great distraction for after skiing. The location to Arrowhead is wonderful a great jump off place to Beaver Creek. Of course, it is really only 15 minute away from Vail, so you have lots of options. We loved the house so much we have been back two years in a row!

Our group of 13 really enjoyed our week in your home. The house was a perfect fit. Our favorite feature was the finished basement, also known as "The Man Cave" to the 3 teenage boys. The house also had a great location and wonderful furnishings. Thank you again, and we hope to be back again.

This house is excellent! Completely stocked with all the cooking utensils needed to cook any meal, very warm down comforters on all the beds, and 2 large flat screen tv's. The 3 different living area's allowed our group of 11 a nice separation. We hope to be back next year.

This house was perfect for our family get together over the holidays. Plenty of space and beautiful surroundings. Stores are close and the best ski slopes ever are just down the road! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect home, location and trip! Owners are fantastic to deal with too! Highly recommended!

I can't tell you how much we all enjoyed your home in Avon. The location, size, and charm were all perfect. From the hot tub to the sledding in the back yard and needless to say the skiing at Beaaver Creek and Vail! We enjoyed it all. I hope to rent it again next year!
