We stayed at this VRBO for three days and found its location to be excellent since you can walk to all amenities. Transportation by either train or bus was very convenient. The Chelsea area of Manhattan is now a desirable location with competitive rents. PC and and Katie were attentive and helped us have a wonderful time in the city. I would return to rent this unit in the future.

I really feel quite lucky that I chose this apartment out of hundreds available in the city. The location is almost perfect: the High Line, Chelsea Market, Penn Station, Apple Store, and the A, C, and E subway station all within walking distance. The apartment had all I needed: a good coffee pot, comfortable bed, pleasant owners, clean, and ambiance for relaxing with a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing. Plus, the rate was very reasonable.

I surprised my husband with a romantic get-a-way to NYC. It was our 1st weekend away from our 1 year old so I guess you can say it was bitter sweet. We stayed in the Garden Studio. It was very clean and inviting with contemporary decor. It has a small garden patio with a grill if you are in the mood to grill some steaks. The Wongs (hosts) were excellent and very helpful. The studio was 2 blocks from the nearest subway station, 2 blocks from a Starbucks, 7 blocks from the Chelsea Market. At the market you can find lunch and a liquor store if you are in the mood to bring back a bottle for your room. Times square was about a 10 minutes ride on the subway. The costs on the subway was $2.25 per person.

We loved Katie and her husbands apartment. We had our six month old son with us and in the middle of winter we were perfectly warm and well hosted. Great space. Excellent facilities. Near good food spots and market foods corner of 7 and 24th was excellent. Eataly was so close and a fab spot. We brought gorgeous food and bottles of bubbles back to our room as bars don't accept children incl babies, so going out at night was not an easy option. I'd definitely stay here again. Ouf friend came and met us in NYC and stayed in tbd studio room below. Perfect! Thanks to the wongs for a fab time. We will be back. For sure!

We had a very comfortable stay at this appartment, its spacious and very clean and situated in a nice and central area! For the same price we stayed some nights in a pod hotel.....next time we will book the appartement for the whole week! So much better than a tiny hotel room. The bed was good (soft), the kitchen had all the equiment and the "walkthrough" bathroom was clean and good. We defenitly reccomend it to all of you!

When me and my friend arrived in NYC and woke Katie up (we took the red eye) without one word she let us drop our stuff off and was so accommodating and patient with us. The garden apt was amazing, neat, clean and comfortable. Starting our mornings drinking coffee out on the patio and ending our long tiring New York day sitting out there and enjoying a drink outside was a rare treat!! Katie was efficient, friendly and a great host. Definitely recommended! Clean and very nice updated fixtures. We were spoiled! Thanks again Katie!

This place is an absolute GEM. My only regret is I didn't find it earlier! First, the location is unbeatable (and I am a NY'er who lived in downtown Manhattan for over seven years so take my word for it!). It's on a GORGEOUS block (I used to live a few doors down) in trendy Chelsea -- a block that's one of the prettiest in all of NY (treelined and full of townhouses). Everything is within steps (a block or less) -- Rite Aid drugstore, deli (two), bank, coffee shops (Joe's Coffee), grocery store. There's even a nails salon about 30 feet away. Perfect! Walk north a few blocks and you're in midtown. Walk south a few blocks and you're in the Meatpacking and West Village. Walk west only a block or two and you run right smack into the wonderful new Highline Park (built on old railroad tracks!). Also you're surrounded by some of the best galleries in the city. Second, the units themselves are fantastic. I've stayed in Studio 2 and the one-bedroom: the one-bedroom is a huge floor-through apartment, and Studio 2 is gorgeous, with soaring high ceilings that make the unit feel ultra spacious. The units are stocked with all you need (utensils, paper towels, etc.) Everything is sparking clean -- clearly the owners take great care to clean after each guest. I arrived early for my stay and saw the housekeeper spotlessly cleaning what was an already-clean apartment! The furniture and decor is also terrific -- not cluttered but rather modern design styles with clean lines. Think "Design Within Reach meets Crate and Barrel/CB2." Oh, and the beds are so comfortable!!! I need to find out what mattresses those are. Anyway, if you're considering staying here, don't think twice. You'll be ecstatic you did. Arlene

We recently spent 10 nights in this fantastic 1 bedroom Chelsea apartment. What a great location: close to the subway, lots of restaurants & bars in the neighbourhood, close to the gorgeous Highline Park, walking distance to the Chelsea market, the Village and midtown. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, nicely furnished with everything you will need. It was cosy i.e. warm as there was a cold snap while we were there in March. Lovely large windows let in lots of light and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The apartment was great value, why stay in a hotel when you could be here? Katie the owner was very welcoming and we are now wondering when we can go back!

The apartment was perfect for the week, easily accessible to the subway - aprox a 5 minute walk away, reasonably quiet neighborhood. The apartment was clean, the owners were very pleasant and easy to work with. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was small, but well stocked with utensils and necessities. There was modern lighting, the TV worked well, and the internet was fast.

I stayed here with a couple of my friends recently and I cannot say enough good things about it. Clean, cool furnishings, the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in too. It even had a patio. The only draw back was that we were given 1 set of keys for 3 people to share and that was tough when we all wanted to go do different things but I bet that could be fixed. I plan on staying at that apartment the next time I visit NYC. Chelsea is a great area and it's close to so many things. The renter could not have been any nicer also. A++++++.

The one bedroom advertised here was not available, so we took a studio on the second floor, queen bed with a very low-ceiling loft with mattress. The kitchenette was really a cupboard. However, it was very clean and the bathroom was fresh and the fixtures all functioned. Katie was very accommodating and provided an extra airbed, Noisy street, but that was to be expected. Minutes from the Chelsea gallery district and the fabulous High Line. Would recommend for 2 on a limited budget. Neighborhood friendly, lots of families.

We had a great experience staying at studio1 thou it was small it was very practical, nice, modern and clean. The bed is really confortable and the linen I would have like to take home. Good wardrobe space and the bathroom is very modern and lean. However the location is the best feature of the place. It´s near everything that's IN and really enjoyed the High Line Proyect, galleries area, flea market, Chelsea market, etc. I really recomend and hope to stay there in the near future.Oh! and thanks for all the help and recomendations, they were very helpful!

My boyfriend and I stayed here at the end of Sept 2009. The apartment was fantastic! We stayed in the one bedroom suite. It was quiet, spacious, nicely decorated and VERY clean. It has a huge TV and about a million channels. Katie, the building manager was lovely and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Chelsea. The neighborhood was awesome and Ray's pizza is right across the street! The meatpacking district is right around the corner and Chelsea Piers is just down the street as well. We will definitely stay here again and I cannot recommend this place enough!!!
