Location: Manzanita, Northern Coast, Oregon, USA
Accommodations: Cottage & Bunkhouse, 2 Bedrooms + Bunk Area, 1.5+ Baths (Sleeps 10)
Enjoy the coziest vacation rental in Manzanita. Camp Manzanita consists of 2 structures; an authentic cedar cottage and a new bunkhouse built in spring 2007.
The cedar cottage has 2 bedrooms (one queen bed in each), a living room, kitchen and bathroom. The bunkhouse has 2 built-in triple bunks, a desk, a bathroom and an outdoor shower.
The Bunkhouse has a dramatic vaulted ceiling, oversized french doors and craftsman wood paneling throughout. The cottage and bunkhouse are connected by a spacious deck.
Camp Manzanita is one block from the beach and five blocks from town. Curl up and enjoy the quiet by the woodstove after a brisk walk on the beautiful beach or hang out on the rear-deck with family and friends and enjoy a barbeque on the gas grill.

Thanks for sharing Camp Manzanita with us. We had a great walk on the beach and scored some good waves at Short Sands! Very relaxing spot to hang out & catch up with friends! Kerry & Beth
This was so much fun! I love the beach. I hope we can come back soon. Skylar (age 6)
Fantastic vacation. Camp Manzanita is our spot from now on. The Murphy's.
Here some of the things we did:
1) Parasailed at Gearhart
2) Took 1st time surfing lessons from Jules at Cannon Beach Surf shop. Indian Beach is ideal for this and many surfers were out.
3) Geo-cached around Manzanita
4) Flew a kit purchased from the "wizard" at Cannon Beach Kit Factory. Best wind was at Manzanita Beach
5) Boogie boarded at Manzanita Beach. Wetsuits a must.
6) Took long showers in the outside shower.
7) The WiFi was used a lot. So was the sound system.
Thanks much - we had a great time. Daryl and family
Fantastic time with best friends. The first of many I hope. A cabin filled with a lot of laughs, good times, good food, good drinks. - what more could you want! Jodi, Melissa, Leslie & Maureen.

Why the Owner Chose Manzanita
Manzanita is considered one of the 'undiscovered jewels' of the Oregon Coast. Although Manzanita is only 15 miles south of Cannon Beach, the two towns are worlds apart. Manzanita features a magnificent beach along with a 'laid-back' small-town atmosphere. Because of the unique geography of the Manzanita area (Mt. Neahkanie to the north), Nehalem Bay to the south, Manzanita frequently gets sun, when Cannon Beach and Gearhardt are 'socked-in.' Manzanita features excellent recreational opportunities including: hiking, biking, kayacking, windsurfing, kiteboarding, tennis, volleyball, golf, surfing, beach walking and crabbing.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage & Bunkhouse
We love the whole cozy, intimate nature of Camp Manzanita. It's a great place for families to spend time together.
We LOVE the bunkhouse!
The iPod-driven whole home-audio system: We can go to the coast, dock an iPod and have music everywhere (house, decks, bathroom, bunkhouse.)
We love that we can easily walk to the beach and walk to town.
We love the rear deck. This is the best place to put on your favorite music playlist, hang-out, cook on the grill and have cocktails.
The wood stove.
We love the outdoor shower with 'endless hot water'.
