The Sand Dollar is a beautiful stilt house located in the family friendly resort of Ocean Lakes that is ready for fun. It has all the comfort of home minus the stress! Ocean Lakes is a gated resort that is monitored by an excellent security staff. Children are free to bike ride, putt-putt, and fish. The beautiful beach is a 3 minute golf cart ride away.

First Floor:

Large master suite, King bed with a pillow top mattress, flat screen TV , walk-in closet, extra-large walk-in shower
Complete kitchen with new appliances, toaster, blender, coffee maker, sandwich maker, snowcone maker, microwave, dishwasher, etc. Pots, bowls, utensils, and dishes provided.
Dining room has a round table with 4 chairs, Bar with 4 chairs.
Living room has comfy couch, love seat, large chair for lounging, 42" flat screen TV, DVD, VCR, Wii with Guitar Hero 3(2 guitars)Wii fit, Mario Kart, and lots of other games.
Half Bath room at base of stairs
Great covered porch complete with swing, wicker set, TV, table and 4 chairs. Uncovered deck adjoining with a bench and two rockers. All wheel-chair accessible.

Second Floor:

Large master suite, King bed pillow top mattress, TV, adjoining bath with double sink and closet. Covered porch with rockers, table and 4 chairs and wicker set. Great place to catch a breeze, nap or escape with a good book!

Bedroom #4, Bunk beds x 2 with double futon mattress on bottom and twin on top(sleeps 6). Futon folds into a couch for daytime playing. TV, VCR, PLAYSTATION 2 WITH GAMES

Laundry Room with sink, ironing board, iron, hanging rack, folding table
Parking:
Covered parking for 4 vehicles plus golf carts. Easy in and out.
Covered BBQ Area:
Gas grill, Charcole grill, table with 4 chairs & tiki umbrella ,swing for two, park bench with pillows, TV and a festive palm tree. Great place to socialize while cooking.
Outdoor shower has hot and cold water, shower caddy and a clothes line steps away for after beach convenience.

  • My family of 8 spent the last week of September at this home. We all loved it and had a great time. This house is very clean and roomy. My father is 81 years old and handicapped and that is one reason we chose this house. The ramp was great and the 1st floor is handicapped accessible. We loved the golf cart and the intercom system with a radio.We would recommend this house to anyone. We hope to come back next year. The owners are very nice...a pleasure to work with...A+++

  • My family spent a week at this home during Labor Day. We have been going to Ocean Lakes for the past eight years and this has been the nicest place we have stayed. The home is beautiful and well equipped with everything you could possibly need plus lots of extras. The porch is wonderful to sit on and read, take a nap or just spend quite time. The owners could not have been any nicer to work with. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night. I would highly recommend this home. I have already checked into renting it again.

  • We had about 10 people to stay at "The Sand Dollar" in May and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. The covered porch was the best place to take a nap.The ramp made for easy access and it had all the amentities of home and then some. The owners where great to work with, very nice people. We look forward to returning to "The Sand Dollar" very soon.On a rating of 1 to 10 I rate it a 12.

It is very roomy and clean, everything worked well and all the comforts of home was nice. Loved the tiki-cart.

  • This is a GREAT place to rent. The rooms are all great in size. The living area is very comfortable. This feels just like home. We'd HIGHLY recommend staying here. The grilling area and porches are fun for gathering with everyone just relaxing!! We hope to go back again real soon!!
