Situated on a quiet block of sunny Noe Valley, the apartment is well-appointed to ensure that your stay is comfortable in every way. Supplies are laid in for your first morning's breakfast but don't let that stop you from exploring the famous food delights of the City.
Enjoy this friendly San Francisco neighborhood by strolling over to 24th Street shops, restaurants, bakeries; perhaps picnic in Dolores Park with views overlooking all of San Francisco. Stop at Mitchell's Ice Cream known for exotic tropical fruit confections and chat up the locals on line. Nightlife in the lively Mission District is sure to pique the interest of the young at heart. We've got lots of ideas how to make the most of your stay in the city that we know and love!
Or use the apartment as a home base to attend San Francisco's glittering Opera and Symphony seasons. Corporate or business visitors are welcomed for short or extended stays. Visiting family here? Have your own retreat to come home to...

Elegant Noe Valley Two Bedroom Pied-a-Terre
Year Purchased: 1987
Why the Owner Chose Noe Valley
For me, food is important - and Noe Valley has outstanding farmer's markets, ethnic grocery stores, and bakeries. Happily Noe Valley has lots of street life and great restaurants.
The Unique Benefits at this San Francisco Victorian
A real San Francisco neighborhood - and one of the best. Noe Valley has it's own distinctive character and is handy to most City attractions.
The double-parked cars early in the morning tell the story: excellent coffee and pastries plus the internet in a cozy room.
24/7: Just about everything one might need as far as food, pharmacy, flowers, liquor plus a Wells Fargo ATM
Purple Yam? Baby Coconut? Mexican Chocolate? Some of their distinctive original recipes for premium ice cream - a City landmark for 50 years...
High tea anyone? Scones, little sandwiches, bone china - a cozy bit of England with Lovejoy's Attic Antiques just across the street.
A destination Italian restaurant where the chef even makes his own salumi
Have you tried Sardinian food? Bottarga is grated over the pasta instead of parmesean. Small space but quite popular.
The freshest of salads, outdoor tables, and a weekend brunch are Chloe's hallmarks...
Restaurant named after a signature middle-eastern salad. They have a great version of this as well as other mediterranean specialties.
A casual place - but home-made tasting everything: hummus, pickled turnips, lamb dishes
Pies hand-made daily. Outrageous banana creme pies as well as fruit tarts in season
Owner's Map of Noe Valley

Thanks Ed for providing such a perfect place to await the birth of our first grandchild Ava! Being just 2 blocks from our son's home gave us great flexibility - and also allowed us to enjoy the Beijing Olympics on TV? Thanks also for the Internet trouble-shooting. So happy to have discovered Duncan House - will be back : )
