This beautiful and secluded cedar cabin rental is ideal for your mountain trip providing everything you would like in a fun vacation site. Private yet conveniently located, Bluestone Hollow offers something for everyone, from the warm and comfortable furnishings to the seven acres of private wooded grounds. This unique setting in your own private glen makes Bluestone Hollow a popular choice for families, although children of all ages appreciate all it has to offer.

Experience each of the spectacular seasons from your choice of the large open deck, covered porch, or while just relaxing in the spacious living room with floor to ceiling views. In the warmer weather you can sit outdoors and often spot deer grazing in the hollow on the seven acres of beauty surrounding the house. In the winter, just imagine sitting around the warm, crackling wood fire as you watch the snow fall outside, relaxing with hot cocoa after a day on the nearby slopes. Or in any weather, sit in the hot tub on the covered porch and relax after a day of outdoor recreation, sightseeing or shopping.

The large impressive living room with cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors and open floor plan is a great place to gather and enjoy the company of those you are with. The adjoining dining room seats up to eight comfortably and there is a large stocked kitchen perfect for preparing meals together. Or if you are in the mood for dining out, you are less than five minutes from downtown Boone, and only ten to Blowing Rock or Banner Elk.

The three bedrooms are decorated in eclectic décor with an assortment of antiques, original artwork, and mountain artifacts. The master bedroom is conveniently located on the main level, with a comfortable king bed to dream about your mountain adventures. There is a full bath on this level as well. Upstairs you will find the second bedroom, with queen bed, and second full bath. The third bedroom is on the lower level, again with queen bed.

The large gameroom boasts a ping pong table, foosball table, bumper pool, and PlayStation for indoor fun. And if you need to do a little work while you are here, there is high speed DSL available. There is truly something for everyone at Bluestone Hollow. Best of all, this cabin has a central location convenient to just about anything you would like to do or anyplace you would like to visit during your stay.

Bluestone Hollow has paved access for all but the last mile – 4WD is necessary in winter. This is a dog-friendly home.

For larger groups, consider renting this cabin with Alice's Wonderland on the adjoining property.

Please remember 4WD or chains are always recommended when visiting the mountains in winter.
