Enjoy our beautiful one bedroom Condo. This Condo is larger than most one bedrooms in the area at 840 square feet. The main room is a large open space that has a beautifully re-done kitchen, dining area and living area with a bay window and access to the large deck. The bedroom also has access to the deck and beautiful views across the valley. Parking is 10 feet from the entrance for convenient loading and unloading.
If the snow conditions are good this can be a ski-in property. Other wise there is a short walk to the ski run that takes you to the base of the resort. The Condo also has a free city bus stop outside.

This is one of the best condo's we've ever stayed at in Steamboat and I've been coming here for over 10 years. The remodel is breathtaking, especially the new bathroom, wow! Very clean, spacious and comfortable. We felt right at home. We especially love the deck, it has some spectacular views of the Flattops and we anticipate the view of the hot air balloons that go up each morning. It's an easy walk to the slopes and easy to use the bus that goes downtown. Mike was really great to work with, prompt and professional. We'll definitely come back to the Ski Ranch.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Poor communication with owner. Cat/dog hairs all over condo. Fridge dirty. Pitiful hand drawn map to lifts. No firewood. Sent polite but frank email with suggestions and issues with fridge and white dog hairs but no response. Go to Salt Lake City. Cheaper and better snow.
Owner response:THIS IS THE ONLY BAD REVIEW IN FIVE YEARS OF RENTALS!!! We feel bad that Tommy did not have a good time in Steamboat. He had some rough weather while he was there. The weather was brutally cold, below zero almost everyday of their vacation. Especially since they are used to Florida weather. I was on vacation myself when Tommy sent me an email about his displeasure when they left and I did not respond right away. That was the only poor communication involved in our transaction. There was no firewood because I don't provide it and Tommy knew that because he specifically asked. The "pitiful map" on the fridge was drawn by my 7 year old niece. I had it there because I thought it was cute and showed the short cut she likes to take to the slopes. If there were hairs and the fridge was dirty, then the cleaning crew might have dropped the ball, but they usually do a great job. No complaints in 5 years. As to Tommy's preference to SLC... to each their own and our snow record speaks for itself. Please give me a call and we can chat if this review makes you hesitant. Thank you, Mike

Nice 1 BR/1BA condo in walking distance to the Gondola/base. Beautiful kitchen, nicely decorated and well furnished. Beautiful mountain views. Would definitely come back when in the area if available. Mike was great to work with.

We had a wonderful time at this condo. It's right near the bus line and a short walk to a great little grocery/deli. It was an easy walk to the ski school for our 3 and 6 year old kids. They loved the deep bathtub and the fireplace. The kitchen is beautiful and well-stocked - had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
