This is a beautifully finished, new house. All modern, with a spacious feel, due to high ceiling that doesn't show in the pictures. The deck you see in the picture of the entry now has a table and chairs, and it looks south to Mt. Sopris on the west side of the Maroon Bells. The deck on the south side looks north to the Roaring Fork and beyond. The location is convenient to Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, Basalt, etc., but out of the commotion of the valley. Owners readily available, ready to assist, but guarded our privacy. We had a great four night stay.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

This is a hidden gem in Carbondale, we rented for a girls weekend and loved it. The fabulous decor and attention to detail was very appreciated. Five minutes from town and all activities-and such a beautiful view!

The "cabin" is beautiful and spacious. Everything is top-of-the-line on the interior and exterior. Beds are very comfortable. The location is atop a hill and has a wide-open valley view on one side and on the other, you'd think Mt. Sopris couldn't be any closer! The owners are great hosts and gave us plenty of privacy, yet were available for any needs we might have had during our stay. Highly recommended.
