Great location in Carnelian Bay. Enjoyed being very close to the lake and there was plenty of space for the family trek. Owner was very helpful in helping me plan the accommodations and was great at answering questions as I had never been to Tahoe before. Great place for a family stay.

It is a wonderful house for family getting together. The house is clean, spacious and has everything that you need for a great vacation. The location is convenient. It takes 5 minutes walk to the lake, 15 minutes drive to ski resorts (Northstar, Homewood, Squaw Valley). I highly recommend this property.

We had a great time staying at this beautiful, clean, and well designed lodge during Christmas. We enjoyed the spacious living room for relaxing with family, good kitchen overlooking the living room, and a large dining table to fit everyone. It's very well maintained -- everything seemed to be in like-new condition and the incredible heating kept the huge place warm and toasty. Location was great, on a quiet street, close to the lake and the store. The owners do a great job managing the place, they were friendly and easy to reach. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed this house. It is spacious and the location is up in the trees away from the noise, but close enough to get to what you need or where you want to go in minutes, a lot within easy walking distance. We had all four of my children and 3 grandchildren there and we weren't cramped. The beds were very comfortable, too. The kitchen is adequate for cooking large meals and the main room sat everybody. I would recommend this house to anyone.

This house was perfect. It was super nice, clean and by far one of the nicer places I have stayed in Tahoe. The ability to walk to the store and a few restaurants was really helpful. We have a small child and this central location allowed us to get a great start on visiting a bunch of beaches around N. Lake.

What a spectacular time our families had at Carnelian Bay! The luxurious cabin made everything feel just like home. It is minutes away from the lake, pizza, grocery store, and easy to get to North Star. I am recommending this winter vacation experience to all my friends. I hope we can do this every year. Thanks John for finding the coolest home away from home!

We had four couples (and three toddlers) who stayed at this cabin for MLK weekend. It's a great choice for adults and families who want everyone to have their own room with king or queen size beds (hence there's no need to argue about who will be sleeping on bunk beds). The house is very clean, very modern, luxurious and has everything you could want. Great location too -- short walk to the lake.

We had 4 families stay here between Xmas and New Years. The lodge is lovely, and we very much enjoyed our family time together there. The lodge is clean, modern, spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything works and available as posted: TV, heat, wifi, appliances, etc. Plenty of towels and linens to go around. Location is convenient: nearby Safeway is well stocked and we love Northstar. The owners are responsive and friendly. Thank you!

We rented this house with our extended family for the week after the 4th of July and had an amazing time! The house fit 8 of us comfortably and it was great to be able to just take a quick walk down the hill to the beach or Garwoods. The house was beautifully furnished and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the equipment we needed for cooking meals for our family and visiting friends. Shondra and Ryan were great to work with and we would highly recommend this property!

The house is wonderful; recently built with all of the modern amenities and is in walking distance to the lake and in a convenient location to Alpine, Squaw and Northstar. The kitchen is great; Jen Air appliances, two owens, lots of space for cooking, prep and a bar with stools. Kitchen opens up to a 8-10 seat dinning room table and family/living room with a fast warming gas fireplace, large TV (with HD programming), sofa and a chair as well as two outdoor decks. This whole area (kitchen, dining, living) is an open space area and is great for relaxing and hanging out with friends. Plenty of seating and space to mingle. Bedrooms are large, king size beds in 3 of the 4 bedrooms and a queen and full + twin bunk bed in the 4th. Beds and sheets are very comfortable. Bathrooms are new and modern with rain showers and a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. Lots of space in the bathrooms for everyone/large family. We had 5 kids (4-7 yrs) staying at the house and they had a blast. An upstairs loft area was the place where they found their space while the adults were downstairs. Kids demanded to sleep there vs. with their parents. In short, both adults and kids had their own place to hang or sleep uninterupted. All in all, everyone in our group enjoyed the trip and the house very much. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and cozy. This is not the first time we rented a house, but this one was probably one of the best ones. Arrangements with Shondra was quick and easy. Highly recommended.

Thanks for letting us use your house for our recent ski vacation. It is obvious that this house is relatively new as things are in pristine shape! The location is great...5 minutes to grocery store, 15 to skiing, an about 10 to the north lake casinos.

Ryan and Shondra's gorgeous, luxury cabin made our stay in Tahoe extra special. The cabin was breathtaking, inside and out; the design was clean and impeccable with every detail thought through; the kitchen was a dream; and the decor was stunning. Even better than the pictures showed. The cabin was extremely roomy and comfortable even with two families, including four adults and three kids, under the age of 6. Also, it was fabulous working with Shondra. She was so friendly and flexible. We are, definitely, looking forward to next time!

Wonderful house (recently build) in great location, close to best ski resorts in north lake Tahoe and short walk to the beach. It includes all the amenities any family needs. Kids had a great time sliding behind the house and wife absolutely loved the kitchen. Perfect place for family vacation. Owners are very professional and quick to respond to any needs you may have...... Already planning our next stay at the cabin. Thank you Shondra! maciej

The house appears to have been built very recently with high quality craftsmanship. The kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance needed to make a delecious dish. Plenty of sleeping space, and beds that we found to be very comfortable. A TV with a directv and plenty of seating. After a long day of outdoor fun, this is a great place to relax and enjoy the memories. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Shondra's place was one of my most memorable tahoe trips. The grand living room really facilitated a festive and functional social environment for our group, and at the same time the cabin was able to comfortably sleep our relatively large party. The cabin was easy to find, easy to use, and close to several nearby amenities we didn't even realize we'd use so much during our trip. Would love to come again, Chris & Friends

What a beautiful cabin! The kitchen was so well stocked. We cooked a lot and ate out on the peaceful deck. It was so relaxing. With so much seating in the living room, every one was able to get a cozy spot on the sectional. Linens and towels provided was a big bonus! My family loved being able to walk to the water and Garwoods. Communicating with the owners made everything easy. I forgot the key, and with one phone call, I was able to contact the owner and arrange for a key when we arrived. We hope to stay again next summer... for maybe a few more days! This was a very last minute trip for us and it worked out perfect. The Eames were very professional, prompt, and easy to work with. We handled the almost-paperless transaction swiftly and got confirmations instantly. The place was immaculately clean, almost new and well equipped with amenities to make our stay a home away from home. It was within easy drive to several major ski resorts and snowmobiling, and a short walk to the lake. There were enough rooms for us to spread out and chill, as well as enough space to gather and reminisce. I would rent this place again without much second thought.

My family always prefers to stay in private homes rather than hotels. What a great choice we made. The home is so welcoming, the furnishings very comfortable and well done. There were 11 of us and we loved coming home to Olive Street after very busy days. We filled up every moment of every day and played games in the house at night. All in all it was perfect. I highly recommend this home. The Eames were the perfect hosts.

This cabin home was awesome. We loved every minute we were there. We did not want to leave the cabin it was so nice. The cost was extremely reasonable compared to the quality of the cabin. Huge ceilings, wonderful bathrooms, awesome stove and kitchen. This is truly a high class cabin. Will stay there every year in the future. Homeowners were always in constant contact with us and followed through on all questions. My daughter wanted us to buy the place. Thank you for letting us stay in your cabin. We had a great time and look forward to the next Tahoe vacation.

This place was stunning!!! The Eames were awesome to work with as they communicated with us quickly and were very efficient in handling any questions or problems that could come up. The location is prime if you’re a skiing family as it is equal distance to Flatstar or Alpine Meadows. The house accommodated our group very well and never felt crowded at anytime. My 10 year old son found the cabin and from the pictures said it was the perfect place for his mother to stay and he was so right. The picture on the website does not do this place justice! I would defiantly rent from the Eames again!!!

This lodge is absolutely stunning! A truly beautiful lodge in pristine condition, everything about this place was perfect. A large family room with a 50 inch plasma tv with home theater system, an amazing kitchen with brand new Jenn-Air appliances, 3 full bathrooms with great fixtures, and 4 large bedrooms to fit all of us very comfortably in our group. The lodge was very clean and immaculate with great hard wood floors and carpeted areas and even the smallest of details were thought of (soap, towels, shampoo & conditioner in the bathrooms) and the kitchen was also stocked fully with plates, utensils, etc. This was by far the nicest lodge that we have ever stayed at and we will definitely stay here again whenever we go back to Tahoe. All in all, a great place!
