The moment you enter our elegant 1,500 square foot condo in the beautiful La Casa Que Ve al Mar complex, you will experience the peace, tranquility and cool whiteness that is represented in by its name. And then you will be in awe at the gorgeous, 180-degree view of Zihuatenejo Bay and famous Playa del Ropa from every room.
The sense throughout is one of cooling breezes, light and openness. All of the floors are smooth white marble slabs outlined in sand-washed pebbles, with smooth white walls. This is the perfect backdrop for the bright spots of color in pillows and decor drawn from a magnificent painting by a well-known Guatemalan artist that is the focal point of the greatroom.
The living area features a huge built-in banquet where you can lounge, listen to music or simply gaze at the Pacific. It flows into the spacious covered terrace, surrounded by exotically-colored bougainvilleas, graced with lounge chairs and a marble-topped dining table. You will spend hours here-- reading, having a lovely al fresco lunch, enjoying a sunset margarita or just listening to the soothing shoosing of the ocean.
Both bedrooms feature comfy beds, luxury sheets and towels and exquisite embroidered Guatemalan bedspreads and pillows. The master suite, with a queen bed, has its own very private covered terrace graced with the bougainvillea.
From both bedrooms, you can lie in bed, sipping your coffee, and watch the sky color with sunrise. Since both bedrooms open onto the living space through sliding glass doors (with privacy curtains) and have windows overlooking the ocean, they are flooded with light and breezes (the master also has a sliding glass door onto its terrace).
Both bedrooms have large bright en-suite bathrooms, with walk-in showers, also with marble and pebble floors. And, you do not need to bring a hairdryer. If you have a fifth person, the living room banquet turns into a bed or a roll-in cot can be provided.
The kitchen flows into the living area, allowing the cook to chat with whoever’s hanging out at the adjoining breakfast bar. If you decide to stay home and cook a bit instead of enjoying the wonderful restaurants within an easy walk—from sand-floored palapas to elegant 5-stars—you will have everything you need.
The textured wooden cabinets hold a full set of elegant dishes and bright glassware and linens, plus cookware, a coffeemaker, blender, juicer, and toaster oven. The kitchen includes brand-new appliances including a four-burner range, a microwave and a full-sized refrigerator. There is a water purifier with two filters and an ultraviolet light at the kitchen sink for the cleanest water possible. The stacked washer and dryer are conveniently just off the kitchen.
Our adorable maid Yolanda will come twice each week while you are there. She will clean and do your laundry or send it out if you wish. She often stops by just to make sure that everything’s OK and to water the plants.
At Casa Blanca, you will always stay cool. Because of its orientation, you will never be blasted by the sun or have to close the drapes to stay cool in our unit. If you wish for more than the constant breezes, all of the rooms have large ceiling fans and the bedrooms have air conditioning. For your entertainment, the casa has cable/satellite TV with a wide selection of US premium cable channels and a stereo with a 5-CD player.
Casa Blanca is on the terrace level of Que Ve al Mar. It is easily accessible by a ramp, so it’s perfect for anyone with mobility constraints, and you will never have to lug anything into the elevator or up steps. The unit is well above ground level and therefore very secure. The two gorgeous infinity pools are just a moment’s walk away.
Que Ve al Mar was created by the world-famous architect Enrique Zozoya, who designed the nearby La Casa que Canta, which has graced the cover of Conde Naste Traveler and been voted one of the best small luxury hotels in the world. Like La Casa que Canta, Que Ve al Mar boasts spectacular views from its hillside location, lush landscaping and privacy, yet it is a gentle 5-minute downhill walk to Playa del Ropa. And, with only 42 units, the complex is intimate and quiet yet affords ample privacy.
There is wireless internet in the condo. The unit includes one covered parking spot. To assure your serenity, access to the complex is through a gate that is manned 24-hours, with another guard who walks the grounds around the clock. And, the bilingual staff will assure that your stay is trouble-free.
Though you will probably never wish to wander further than the beach, the quaint village of Zihuatanejo is less than a mile away. It is a quick cab or bus ride or an easy walk if you are up for it.

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful Condo for 2 weeks in March. The accomadations, location, grounds and staff were all excellent. The proximity to the beach and the beautiful views from both the room and from around the pool were unbelievable. The beach, Playa La Ropa, was clean and not crowded and the weather was perfect every day. Location was a short walk to town which had fantastic restaraunts all at reasonable prices. Sally answered all of our questions and the payment procedure was very easy. Highly recommended, I would definitely stay here again. If you like to play beach volleybal go and visti Darryl and Russ on the beach, the play there everyday for 5 months. We'll definitely be back.

Two friends and I stayed at this condo recently for 6 days in early November. This place is actually better than what the photos show, which is not usually the case. The condo was very open, and bright, with fans so it was cool at night. The owner and building manager had beer waiting for us when we arrived, as well as basic groceries to cook with. Fresh water was always provided, and it was very clean. The complex itself is very well maintained and safe. The two pools were beautiful, with the most incredible views. Overall, we were very happy with our accommodation. I would recommend it to anyone. I would say that it should hold 4 adults maximum though. The on-site manager was also very helpful in advising us where to go, what to see...etc.

Thank you so much, Sally. We had a great time and loved everything--Zihua, the beach, the complex, your maid Yolanda and especially your condo. We met a number of nice couples staying at Que Ve al Mar and saw their units. Though the layouts were similar, everyone much preferred the decor, wonderful light and views of Casa Paloma over the condos they were renting, so 'our house' became the favored location for sunset Margaritas! Thanks again. We will be back!
