For vacationers wanting to make Sanibel their home for a month or more, see our gorgeous, large, private, beachfront condominium home. Entire second floor of two-unit freestanding building (9 unit complex). Guests usually have the pool to themselves. Walkway winds through seagrapes and palms to quiet beach area far from the larger condo complexes. Multiple sandbars make for shallow waters, great wading and shelling for children. A variety of interesting sea creatures abound.
Condominium has huge lanai with an expansive view of tropical foliage and the beach, unencumbered by other condominium complexes. Vacationers will enjoy biking, the J.Ding Darling Wildlife Reserve, the Shell Museum, fairs, local theater, casual dining, canoeing, kayaking, and easy access to mainland water parks, shows, arrowhead hunting, and other attractions.
Avoid island traffic by making this left turn off the causeway to the private, quiet East end of the island, and enjoy some of the feel of how Sanibel was 50 years ago, when a ferry boat brought visitors over to stay in small cottages for a vacation of shelling and beachwalking on "their own island".
