Villa Margarita is located in the private subdivision of Green Bank Estate. The Villa was designed by prominent architect Michael Arneborg whose speciality is authentic West Indies Design. The villa maximises the panoramic views of beautiful Brewers Bay, Jost Van Dyke and Sandy Cay as well as other Islands. It was specifically designed to capture the tropical breezes and trade winds of the Caribbean.
As you enter off the estate road through the stone columns and gates you will be in awe at the spectacular views of this unique and tastefully designed Island getaway.
Villa Margarita has casual elegance in a peaceful setting that awards rest and relaxation and is very private. There is old world natural stone through-out, including two natural stone showers. All rooms have imported stone tile from Turkey or natural hardwood. The Villa is conveniently located, only 10 minutes to beaches or the city of Road Town. The villa consists of three separate pavilions and is connected by a 2500' pool deck. There is also a large alfresco dining and living varendah with all teak furniture including the dining table that can seat up to ten. Villa Margarita is an excellent vacation home for families couples. It is a very spacious villa, surrounded by tropical vegetation. There is teak and hard wood furnishings through-out and porches for every bedroom and the living room, which will make your stay a very comfortable one. A/C is included in all bedrooms, living Room and games room. Solar power quietly runs most everything on the estate. The villa is easy to access and plenty of parking, no four wheel drive is necessary. The swimming pool is 12' x 32' and is always heated to 82 degrees. The pool is equiped with four color permeter fibre optic lighting and there is plenty of pool toys.
You will be greeted by the villa manager at the Beef Island Airport, the West End or Road town Ferry dock, and escorted up to Villa Margarita for your orentation. The airport is only twenty five minutes away. The Ferry docks are 10 min for Road Town or 25 minutes for West End. Your Vacation starts minutes after your arrival in Tortola.
Tortola, called "Natures Little Secret" has many beaches and restaurants to explore. No highrise condos or commercialism here. You may enjoy a day sail through the blue waters of the islands and snorkeling in one of our calm bays. We have three beaches where you can enjoy/or watch, surfing. You can also take a free ferry to a nice lunch spot on the small island of Marina Cay, where the breeze is constant and the view is so relaxing you won't want to leave. Starting on New Years Eve, Michael Beane, the singing pirate has a fun show at the bar above Pussers on Marina Cay. There is a wonderful short ferry trip to the Island of Jost Van Dyke where you can enjoy the day at White Bay and lunch at the famous Soggie Dollar Bar enjoying their signature drink the Pain Killer. Kenny Chesney loves Jost Van Dyke and wrote a song about a blue chair he used to sit in while at the beach. There is also a nice day trip to Virgin Gorda and the world famous "Baths". Beautiful beaches, trails and grotto's, along with snorkeling through the hugh bolder formations. Cane Garden Bay always has music and plenty of restaurants and a beautiful white sand beach. We know you will really be able to relax and enjoy yourself on Tortola and at the Villa. Plenty or restaurants too. The Caribbean people are friendly and the crime rate is one of the lowest in all the Caribbean.

Year Purchased: 2007
Tom, Cindy,and daughter Allison. We sold our business in South West Florida and moved to Tortola where the warm breezes are constant and the blue waters go on forever. Villa Margarita was designed and built by local Caribbean contractors to make indoor living outdoors. Our own added finishing touches make the house unique. We live on Tortola full time, in another house, and we are always available to our guests. It took about three years to finish the construction as it is a complex and well built. We take terrific care of our property and our guests, everyone says the pictures don't do it justice. We hope you will join us.
Why the Owner Chose Brewers Bay
Tortola is peaceful, beautiful and safe. The Island people are very friendly and respectful. The american dollar is used and the language spoken is english. There are many beaches to explore and they are white. The Ocean is warm, crystal clear and blue. There is a brand new modern airport and it has easy access to the US. An alternate route is flying into St. Thomas and taking the Ferry to Road Town this adds about $75.00 to the cost of the flight. We hope all this informaion has been helpful.
