Ocean Air is a 4000 sq ft custom, 8BR/7.5BA oceanfront house at 867 S Waccamaw Drive Garden City,SC. Each of the two downstairs bedrooms has a queen bed ;the family room has a queen sleeper sofa. Upstairs in the six bedrooms are four king beds, a queen bed with a twin bunk bed, and a full-size bed in the game room. Ocean Air is an easy 0.8 mile walk down the beach SW of the popular Garden City pier.
The house was built with upscale decorator furnishings and designer appliances. No Smoking indoors please. Ten foot ceilings on each floor with 13 ceiling fans throughout. There is a foyer with a game table. Other features include wired and wireless broadband internet access, a game room off one of the upstars bedrooms and two large dining tables.
Relax in the oceanfront private five-person spa that reaches 104 degrees unlike some of our competitors . Watch the sunrise on the 2 story oceanfront covered and uncovered deck in rocking chairs. Wonderful vacation Ocean Air is a great house, centrally located to numerous activities and restaurants, but has the capacity to make you feel like you are not in the mist of everything. Upon arrival, we found the house to be well decorated, clean and very attractive. The bedrooms are large and offer a place to seclude your self and curl up and read a book. Our family ranged in ages from one year to 83 years. The queen bedrooms located on the main level were great for the ones who need to use the elevator or have their child nearby. The game room on the upstairs level was a hit for the children and allowed the older folks time to converse and visit. There are numerous amenities to Ocean Air. The pool, the hot tub, and the covered porches, one ocean side and one street side. Two days of our vacation were raining but the rocking chairs and the dining table on the back porch gave us a good place to read, watch the ocean and listen to the rain. On sunny days, the back porch allowed us to eat our breakfast as we watched the dolphins enjoy their morning swim. The evenings were nice to walk the beach down to the pier and walk back to the house in the light of the full moon. Everyone in our party enjoyed the house and found our vacation to be very relaxing and enjoyable. The location is an extra benefit as the selection of excellent restaurants, good shopping districts and numerous activities are close and easy to find. The location and excellent beach frontage allows everyone an opportunity to select their pleasures. I want to thank the owners for allowing us to use their home for our vacation. The rental process was conducted very professionally and efficiently. The owners and Michelle were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend Ocean Air as a great house for a vacation.

Ocean Air is a clean, well maintained oceanfront house that we felt right at home in the moment we checked in. The house is beautiful and more than we expected. The inspector Michelle was available 24/7 to answer our questions. It was a short 10 minute walk north to the Garden City pier, small amusement park, restaurants, arcades, and shops. Myrtle Beach was a short 15 minute drive north. We will definitely return year after year.

My family arrived at the Ocean Air to find a perfect house that was well discribed on the listing, the house gave us the best back home feeling,we all worked together making breakfast and dinner and moms wonderful fudge. Dad and Mom celebrated their 50 anniversary this 2011and to top off got to vacate with their children,grandchildren and great grandchildren. This house is amazing and hopfully will be revisited by the Jones family. Pool and Beach was great the rooms gave privacy needed. Very clean! Thanks to the Andersons for sharing their home and very helpful with our questions.

The listing description accurately describes the location close to the Garden City pier. The listing photos accurately reflect Ocean Air's appearance and amenities. Ocean Air was clean and well-maintained. In fact my twin babies crawled on the clean floors all week and did not get dirty. The owner was helpful in answering your questions. I would heartily recommend Ocean Air to a friend.

My family arrived on 8/27 and stayed until 9/3. We actually had our wedding on the beach 9/1, couldn't have had a better day. My mom is handicap, so the elevator was a bonus for to get around. Plus, we have five children, between the game room and the pool they were completely occupied. The home had every amenity we could think of. With a lot of our family living out of state, I would love to make this an annaul vacation.

We have, for many years, rented ocean and lake front homes for an extended family vacation. Over the years, we have covered the east cost from New Hampshire to South Carolina and we all agree that Ocean Air was the nicest of the large, water front homes we have ever rented. Most other homes, although have sleeping space for a large group, lack dining seating space, plates or other essentials. Ocean Air has it all, it is very obvious that the owners give a great deal of thought to making your stay in their home a very pleasant experience. The house is extremely well laid out both inside and outside with a beautiful pool and hot tub nestled into the back yard overlooking the ocean. The beach is among the most lovely we have visited, that includes vacation destinations like Hawaii and Aruba. We plan to book again in 2012 which is only the 2nd time we have re-booked at the same destination. Our extended family agrees that this is the spot we should consider an annual destination. We had a memorial family vacation and I would highly recommend this home.

We just had a family reunion after 14 years with family from all parts of the U.S. We were very fortunate to have found Ocean Air. The house is very accommodating meeting all of our expectations and more. With all of our family we never felt crowded and if you needed to excape you could. The property manager, Michelle, was attentive to our needs as well as the maintenance people and the owner was very easy to work with. Thanks to everyone for our exceptional time. The ocean was great too, no jellyfish and very few shells making the beach comfortable on the feet. Looking forward to the next visit.
