The pictures don't do it justice. This place is amazing! It's far enough away from Breckenridge to feel secluded, but still only a short bus ride away from town. It is roomy, has tall ceilings, is well furnished, and contains all the amenities to make a vacation in the mountains an incredibly good time. Cooking was easy, even though we had 11 adults. Parking was ample (we rented 3 full size SUVs), and the place was just so big. We did not feel cramped at all. The garage made coming in from the slopes very easy. The property owner/manager was very helpful. Unless our next snow trip takes us to somewhere other than Breckenridge, we will be staying here again!

We had such a wonderful time at this spectacular home! It feels like it's away from it all, but you can be in downtown Breckenridge in 6-7 minutes! (The shuttle stop is also right outside the door~we didn't use it, but we commented how convenient it would be in the winter!) We enjoyed the hummingbirds, the fox that visited, and the AMAZING mountain views!!! Relaxing in the hot tub looking at the beautiful views was something we'll always remember. Also, the beds were SO comfortable~and the home has everything you could possibly need! You will be so pleased with your choice to stay here!

We just had a nine person ski vacation here at View Manor. The house and view are simply extraordinary! There is nothing like a quiet morning wake-up, watching the sun light up the mountain peaks and enjoying a nice cup of coffee. This residence has everything a visitor could possibly want: view, privacy, hot-tub, grill, big screen TV, pool table, wireless internet, and a wonderfully designed floor-plan. This is a relaxing, quality, and impressive house. Better yet, it is proximate to both DEN and EGE airports. We highly recommend this house as a premier habitat to enjoy the town and ski resorts in the area. We simply can't wait to return. You will find the owners most friendly, personable, and accommodating. The house is fully equipped. Simply bring yourselves!

We had Thanksgiving weekend in this beautiful home. We were so amazed at how beautifully decorated it was. We had ages 5 to 78 - and everyone loved it. We made a big Thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equip't. The layout was perfect for the varied ages. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable with a bath for every bedroom. The owners great to work with. Thank you so much! We will be back.

Emmett Lode/View Manor is an amazing place! Our three families (16 people) totally enjoyed our week's stay in July/August 2009. The kitchen is large and open for great conversation (and meals). We had plenty of room - the kids loved the pool table and PS2 in the lower level. The hiking, biking and sights available are awesome. The home was perfect for our reunion - large, welcoming, and clean. And the Dunton's made it easy to plan our trip. All thumbs up!

This home is the perfect spot for a family vacation. The views are terrific. Close to town and skiing. Plenty of space for people to spread out. A terrific well equipped kitchen to gather and socialize while cooking, eating and enjoying one another. I strongly recommend this house for a family reunion or group of friends.

My family and I, 7 of us all toghether stayed at the cabin in December. We were totally amazed when we drove up to it, and even more so when we opened the door. It is absolutely the most beautiful cabin I have ever seen. There was nothing we were lacking. My grandchildren were not bored for one minute while we were there. The view is totally breathtaking. I would love to stay there again. Thanks to the owners for a vacation I will always remember. Also when we drove into town, it was close to Christmas, It looked like a Dickens Villiage, also breathtaking.

We chose this property for our summer family reunion--6 adults and 8 children (ages 5-13). It was perfect in every respect. The home is immaculate and very tastefully furnished with everything you would need! The location is great since it is right by the shuttle stop and we didn't need to drive into town all the time. The views of the ski slopes were just spectacular from the deck with nice hot tub. The owners were very helpful when we corresponded with them and very prompt in returning our damage deposit, which we appreciated. We will definitely return if we are in Breckenridge with our family again...it is a great value for the price!! Thank you so much!!

This home is fantastic--completely equipped for 18 people. We hosted a family reunion over the 4th of July weekend. Everyone who stayed loved the home, the amenities, the fabulous views, the warmth of each room, and the privacy of each bedroom. The kitchen has every small appliance you could possibly need, top-of-the-line appliances, plenty of cooking and eating space. This home is an incredible value, and one which we hope to re-visit in the next couple years.

The Emmet Lode Duplex was an absolutely phenomenal place to stay. The view can't be beat. The home is beautifully appointed and very welcoming. Everything was just so upon our arrival, and our correspondence with the owners during the time leading up to our trip was prompt and always helpful. We were extremely satisifed with our stay and would choose this property again in a heartbeat if we vacation in Breck again. Good value too, compared to homes of similar size and number of bedrooms.

Absolutely gorgeous mountain views from the living room and kitchen (and maybe the master bedroom, too. We were in a guest bedroom). A very large home that is stylishly and comfortably decorated with all the amenities. The decor is beautifully done, but we appreciated that the couches and chairs were comfortable, too. We loved the great room with kitchen, dining, living room and TV available all in one big room. We also liked having a private bath for each bedroom, and our bedroom was very large with lots of storage and room for all our extra stuff. It was very homey, too, so we really enjoyed our time at the house. We played pool and cards in the big comfy game room, and liked the multiple TV's and fireplaces. Highly recommended.

My family and I loved the home here in Breckenridge very much. The bedrooms are very cozy and large with the most comfortable sleep ever. The kitchen was spotless and contained every essential that you could imagine. It was well equipped and nicely organized. The whole ambiance of the house is inviting and warm, and richly decorated in a fun Colorado theme. We especially enjoyed the views from the deck, the huge hot tub and the pool table. The kids were very happy to see that there was a PlayStation 2, and also enjoyed playing outdoors. I would recommend this property to anyone who enjoys skiing, snowboarding, hiking, ice skating, sledding or just relaxing.
