The vacation you always dreamed of awaits you at this beautiful, new and luxurious, 7 bedroom, 6.5-bath, 2nd row ocean home on Sand Dollar Road in desirable Folly Field. The home features multiple living areas, 3 Master Suites and multiple balconies. The beach path to one of the Island’s most private beaches is directly across the street and the beach is a short 2 minute walk from the front door.
The raised style of the home allows for garage parking for up to 3 cars at ground level, as well as a glimpse of the ocean from the house. This custom home features 4,400 sq. feet of luxury living!
The main level starts with a large front porch which is the perfect place to relax for your morning coffee or after a day at the beach. Other features include a large open great room with a big screen TV and entertainment area plus a formal dining room anchored by a gourmet kitchen complete with granite countertops, stainless appliances and a wine refrigerator. Dining Room table seats 8, breakfast table seats 4 plus 3 barstools. There is also porch seating for 6. There are three bedrooms on the main level including a fabulous master suite that has a sumptuous master bath including a 6’ whirlpool tub, two sinks in a granite countertop, a huge custom tile and stone shower and separate water closet. The two additional bedrooms are joined by a large bath with two sinks and a separate tub and water closet area.
The upper level features a family game room with a foosball table, TV/DVD, games, an oversized leather sectional, wet bar and a refrigerator plus 4 additional bedrooms [2 are Masters!]. Each bedroom has a private bath. All baths feature custom tile/stone tub and/or shower surrounds. There is a large wonderful laundry room on the top floor complete with washer/dryer, laundry sink and abundant cabinets and counter tops for folding. It even has an iron and ironing board! There are three separate sun porches on the upper level offering lovely views and breezes.
The pool level features a large swimming pool [15' x 30'] complete with 4 in-pool seats and plenty of additional seating. There is a Hot Tub which seats 5 comfortably and a fabulous party bar with a refrigerator, microwave, stereo and TV for viewing from both the bar and the pool! There's also a ping pong table in the garage for your enjoyment. One BONUS you're sure to appreciate is that the pool offers full sun in the morning and most of the day, but for the late afternoon heat, there's lots of shade!
Hilton Head offers an array of activities. Water sports, boating, golf, tennis, fishing, biking, playgrounds, shopping, day trips to Savannah, Beaufort & Charleston are all offered here. Folly Field (located north of Palmetto Dunes and south of Port Royal) is conveniently located for all activities. Two parks are close by with outdoor grills, picnic tables and playgrounds. Bike ride to Shelter Cove or ride on the hard sand of the beach. The beach area is very quiet as if it were your own private beach making a peaceful day at the beach for you and the family. Body surf the waves or take a long peaceful walk to the south into the open folly area where you can see the birds of the marsh or head north along the beach by the private homes in Port Royal Plantation. Summer months offer fireworks at Shelter Cove on Tuesday nights. Visit the famous lighthouse in Sea Pines Resort at Harbour Town or the Salty Dog at South Beach.

We were very pleased with the closeness to the ocean -- when listed at two minutes -- it was two minutes! The pool is awesome. Patio, hot tub and outside bar complete with music was enjoyed by all. Inside the house is extremely roomy, There were 14 of us with room to spare. My only criticism is that the thermostat is preset at 78 degrees which makes for some uncomfortable times on those steamy days on Hilton Head. Otherwise the house is great.
Owner response:We work very hard to make sure our guests have a pleasant stay. We do have controls on the thermostat, but we will raise or lower the thermostat upon request. What we try to avoid is having 14 people constantly raising and lowering the thermostat. Our HVAC company recommended we have the controls to keep the unit from being over burdened and freezing up leaving everyone uncomfortable. If it becomes a problem, we will rethink it. Our guest come first!

We just finished a wonderful week at this fabulous home. The house was so spacious and open and ideal for a multi-family gathering. We had a house full with ages 1 year to 56 years and 4 separate families. We never felt crowded or lacked for anything to do. Even with all the kids, the layout of the home provided us with plenty of quiet. Beach was close, pool had afternoon shade and the pool deck bar was a great gathering place for watching sports games on the bar TV. Everyone enjoyed the ping-pong and Foosball as well. The porch was a favorite hangout too, even on a hot evening because of the fans and breezes. The owners were very attentive to our needs. Can't say enough,Loved it. Loved it!!!! Hope to go back.. Thanks for sharing your home!

Our families more than enjoyed our week at the beach staying at 21 Sand Dollar in Hilton Head. The house is beautiful, and very spacious. The layout of the bedrooms was perfect for our families, and over all our stay was fantastic. The 2 minute walk to the beach was easy and made the ocean very accessible. The pool with the entertainment center was what topped off the house. That was a perfect way to end a day-a cool beverage by the pool. We also cooked several meals, and used the grill and the kitchen extensively. Both were user friendly. We would recommend the house for any large family gathering. The location is central to most places on the island, and we had GREAT luck with restaurants: One Hot Mammas (good BBQ) & Hudsons (good & reasonably priced seafood). We also got fresh seafood from Barnacle Bill's, and had some great lobster, shrimp, and mahi-mahi. We didn't do much for sightseeing because we were busy on the beach and at the pool, but did hit Coligny Plaza for some souvenir shopping. Again, I would definitely recommend the house for your family vacation.

This home has everything anyone could want for a great beach week, perfect weather not included. The pictures don't do the house justice and the social area by the pool was used very often. We had 3 families with 7 kids total (2 toddlers). What was appreciated most was the heavy doors and insulation. The house was quiet and allowed for various waking and bed times. The pool was great as well as the balconies off the rooms and porches. The kitchen well stocked with utensils and dishes. Thanks for sharing your home, we had a great time! Great black book for help to HHI first-timers. Mellow Mushroom and Guiseppi's are great for Pizza as is Hudson's for seafood. Highly recommend Barnacle Bills Seafood just down 278 towards Sea Pines for fresh seafood. The owners were extremely accommodating to our questions & needs that came up during the week.

The house was fantastic! We had 8 adults and 8 kids - and there was room to spare. Leslie is a pleasure to rent from - she takes care of everything and makes sure everything is top notch! The house itself is gorgeous. The quality and detail are in every room. The three master bedrooms are very well appointed - you will not be disappointed. Even with 8 adults and 8 kids, when you wanted to get away to your room - it was quiet. The pool is perfect for adults and kids - there is room to swim or just relax. The pool bar will be the favorite spot for everyone! The beach is not crowded and just a short walk away - literally 3 minutes. Finally, the attached decks are perfect! All in all it was an awesome week!

All of the reviews on this home are excellent and everyone is our party completely agrees. This home is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. The owners didn't skimp on any finishes, furniture, appliances or amenities. The photos and virtual tour are accurate but don't do the home justice. It's even better than what you see! The location can't be beat either - Folly Field is a quiet neighborhood w/a beautiful beach-literally a 2 minute walk. The pool/hot tub/outside bar area is perfect. We were able to watch World Cup Soccer while keeping an eye on the children in the pool. The water temp (pool and ocean) was heavenly especially when you are used to the cold Pacific Ocean! We ate many meals poolside, but also enjoyed the open kitchen/dining area. 14 people are comfortably accommodated; there's plenty of common space as well as private/quiet areas. The owners are a pleasure to deal with. If you have any concerns, they are easily reachable and respond immediately! My family would love to stay here again and would highly recommend this home!

This house was better than any review or photo showed! It accomodated our family of 15 beautifully. Everyone felt like they had their own space and there was also plenty of room for us all to be together. The kitchen was fabulous and allowed for us to cook and eat in more than we planned. The owners are wonderful. They accomodated every request, small or large. The beach path is right out the front door and easily navigated. We have stayed in other houses in Port Royal and this is by far our favorite. We would definately book again!

We spent a wonderful week here with our children and grandchildren and even one of our Moms. The house was just as it was presented. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together and room to slip away from the group when you wanted to. The owners were available and responsive whenever we had questions or needed to reach them. We had a catered dinner one night on the deck to celebrate a 60th birthday rather than fighting the crowds at a restaurant. If was so much fun! In fact we grilled out and stayed around the house and pool most nights. It was just that comfortable! We all hope to return again.

Our entire family experienced an amazing time together celebrating our parent’s 50th anniversary. Home had plenty of space for entire the family to enjoy special times together as well as plenty of space for smaller intimate groups.
