Emerald Island Resort is located just 1.9 miles from Disney. The resort is the most environmentally friendly in the area with 11 acres of conservancy, huge palm trees, and numerous large ponds.
Our home, Palm Haven, backs up to this conservancy, which means the private screened in pool does not back up to another home's back yard. Throughout the conservancy are winding paths for hiking and amid the paths are picnic tables. This relaxing respite from the hustle and bustle of Disney is entirely unique to Emerald Island.
Palm Haven has two master bedrooms at opposite ends of the home, each with its own private bath. The other two bedrooms contain two twin beds each; one bedroom is the Captain America and the other mermaid themed. This is an ideal set up for two families traveling together and also perfect for a family including grandmother and grandfather. Pets are NOT allowed and No Smoking.
Palm Haven's living room/dining room and family room/kitchen areas have soaring vaulted ceilings. The home is decorated distinctly tropical and is sun-filled and bright. The pool is spectacular with its forest background. There is a raised spa in the pool and also two spray fountain features. |
