  We stayed here to celebrate mom's 80th birthday. From the beginning of our first connection with guest services to checking out, all went perfectly. The house has the feel of an old plantation house that easily accommodated the ten of us..... I can see how it would sleep 22 nicely. Having a full laundry room was a plus. We didn't think we'd need two fridges, but boy did that come in handy.....a drink fridge and a food fridge! We loved the large kitchen....wish there were more glasses for drinks, but we made do. We walked the neighborhood and met so many wonderful people with lots of lovely tips. The Moke Islands are must do for next time, but the kayaking out to the bird sanctuary was very interesting. For those less interested in battling the sea waves in a kayak, the canal was a lovely gentle paddle....saw Night Heron and heard there were barracudas in the canal.......no wonder the fish were so active! The turtles were there to greet us every morning and the waves sang us to sleep every night. Be prepared for some wind, but we loved it! It cooled off us NW'ers! Kayaking and scuba diving are right at your finger-tips......don't forget the lanai at Buzz's for puu-puu's and great food. The location was a quick drive into Honolulu if that's your program, but for relaxing and enjoying the Hawaiian spirit, there's no better place. You are in great hands with this group......we were so thankful for the recommend

  Our entire family had planned this trip for almost a year, and when we decided on this Ocean front rental in Lanikai, we thought it would be very nice. When we arrived, I was very surprised by the fact that it was even more beautiful than the pictures. The kitchen was spacious, and had all the appliances we needed to prepare our meals. This house had two huge refrigerators, and a washer & dryer to add to our convience. The manager was so helpful in the rental process, and seeing that this house would be the perfect fit for our family vacation, and was quick to answer all questions we had. I was very pleased to find that this home was a perfect fit, and would recommend it to everyone. The view of the ocean right from the living area was beautiful, and just right out our back door, and the sound of the Ocean waves with the constant breeze flowing thru the home, was so relaxing. While there, we visited many other beaches on Oahu,but none compared to the beach we had on Lanikai . We had small children that enjoyed the white sandy beaches, as well as the adults. The snorkling was wonderful, and we even watched turtles surface from our patio. We were all so pleased, that we have already decided that we will be returning to do this vacation again, and renting this same beach house. Thank you Kiaaina for all your help in making our dream vacation perfect.

  Ocean House is charming and perfect for large families! My family of 16 adults and 4 children stayed at Ocean house early June 2010 and had a blast! Having the waterfront just a few steps from the Lani was great. We had a perfect view of sea turtles, kayakers, sail boarders, wind surfers all with beautiful aqua water as a backdrop. The scenery is every changing with the light and clouds and such a nice breeze blew through the house. We never needed air conditioning and it was even a bit brisk in the morning watching the sun rise over the Mokulua islands. Ahhhh that was heavenly! Although the large beach area was 5 houses away, we could walk down the steps next to the house right out onto the sand and shallow water to access the larger beach. Plus - no beach goers roaming between our lani and the water to block the view. What great privacy! The property manager was great, close by if we needed him but never intruded. We could not have made a better choice than Ocean House!

  It was great! The family - from ages 14 mos to 72 yrs old enjoyed it thoroughly! To find the house completely 'furnished' was a very pleasant surprise - The views - from the Mokuluas to Kaneohe was awesome - the 'honus' added a very special touch! Watching for them and seeing them was very special... Needless to say, I will recommend the Ocean House to everyone with large families! It was perfect! Mahalo1

  The house had a fantastic veiw. There was lots of open space and yet good privacy for the bed rooms. There were enough bathrooms and they were very functional. The was very useable kitchen and it also had the view of the 0cean. The property manager was very congenial and helpful. The property was well located because of the great beach and accessable to other parts of the island.

  We enjoyed staying at the Ocean House. I would recommend that you tell people that beach towels are included. We liked the fact that the house was large enough that our whole family could stay together. The manger was very responsive to our needs and very friendly. Staying on the beach was great.

  My family and I loved this house and had a great time there, celebrating my mom's 50th (Hawaii 5-0!) birthday! We would definitely like to come back and stay there again. The views were amazing, the house had a very unique feel to it, that added that extra special touch to our vacation. Thank you!

  This is just the type house that brought out the best of all of our family. We had such a good time because the house was so livable and had room for everyone. The location was perfect - close to activities, and yet, away from crowds. We loved it!!! Thanks so much.
