Seashore Dreams is truely a magical place on the Washington Coast. Many of our guests have felt the quiet ambience of each home enjoying the views of whales passing through in the morning and watching the fishing boats in the night.
Our panoramic duplex home consists of two complete and separate homes. These townhomes may be rented individually or in combination for up to 12-16 people maximum (if renting both homes) - it is most comfortable with 2-3 couples per home - but can sleep a maximum of 8 individuals. Each home has 2 private bedrooms and 1 loft bedroom.
Coastal Breeze Cottage - has been popular for that ladies getaway, scrapbooking, quilting, mother's 86th birthday or a couples wedding anniversay. This home allows dogs under 10 pounds only. It is a place when you want to treat yourself or your loved ones to something "special". We are the most accomodating of homes in the area for the 50+ crowd with our one level living, great lighting, universal design, antiques, art work and outstanding views. We have periodic weekday specials in the off season as well as a repeat guest discount.
Our townhomes are high bank - making the ocean views one of the best in North Beach. (These homes may not be suitable for young children (under age 12) due to location on cliff)
Both of our homes feature granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, woodburning stove-fireplace, tile baths, warm comfortable hydronic in floor heat, media center with Satellite connection, HD DVD, large plasma TV, free wireless internet and relaxing jetted spa tub in the master suite(s).
When creating our Seashore Dreams, we designed to have views from every room. Which ever home you choose, you will enjoy 180 degree ocean and beach views to the West and Olympic Mountain views from the front porch which faces East. Though not sitting on the sand, we are only a five minute walk to the beach. Easy walking access to beach as well as a 1/2 mile drive to beach entrance should you choose to take the car on to the sand.
Sea Mist house (north home) is set up to be "dog friendly" and allows responsible *dog owners to stay with up to 2 clean, well behaved dogs under 15 pounds or 1 large well behaved calm dog. Yes, we being responsible dog owners ourselves cater to others who care about their furry friends. Dog towels, rinse station, extra bowls and carpet runners are just a few of the extra things we thought of. (dogs must be approved and on contract prior to arrival)
Sea Mist is designed with Ships and a Sea Captain flavor along with a Pacific Northwest flair. Colored with misty green walls and natural woodwork, we are told this home has the most relaxing atmosphere. 2 Queen beds in private rooms, 1 Queen Sofa Bed in great room and a trundle bed (2 twin beds) up in the "crows nest" (private), this home sleeps a maximum of 8. Maximum parking is 3 vehicles. Sea Mist has inspired both photographers and poets alike. We have begun a poetry wall for those who wish to contribute.
Both Coastal Breeze Cottage and Sea Mist are non-smoking properties. We are *dog friendly. (**Dogs subject to pre-approval and refundable damage deposit)
Come, relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Please feel free to email us with any questions about these homes. Contact us directly about availability.

Rest, Relax and Unwind at the Pacific Coast - Poetry Wall
Year Purchased: 2005
Why the Owner Chose Moclips
As a family, we have been visiting Moclips since the 1980's We would walk the beach dreaming of someday owning our own vacation home. One day in January 2005 we took a random drive up SR 109 and stumbled upon the most overgrown decrepit property. We walked through the tall grass and took one look at the view and were totally wowed. We sat on the crumpled deck in back and looked at each other and said "I guess we're going to be buying this". After one year of living in the "shack" we coordinated our architect and builder and together designed Seashore Dreams which was completed in September 2007. We designed both homes with the view in mind - making sure whereever you went in the home you would see the ocean. We also wanted to make sure it was built green and we recycled the old building and built new with renewable resources, low VOC paints and clean in floor heat. Thus the Dream of a vacation home became reality. We really put our heart and sole into this special place.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We are a side by side duplex - each home being individual can be rented by itself. It is also great for two families, couples, friends who want to rent side by side but still have privacy. Because we sit sixty feet above the beach and had a large lot, we made the home one level living but added a loft bedroom in each unit. The views are phenomenal and what people enjoy most about our homes. We were aging ourselves and thought making our home easily accessible (no stairs) would benefit a growing segment of our guests. We added ramp entries into the design, wider doorways and lower light switches to name a few. We created a bath that could accomodate a wheelchair and a rollin in shower. We are walking distance to the Museaum and the resort that offers a gym and swimming pool for a small fee. We are not in a development and are bordered by a windblown treed lot and another older home that is maintained but not occupied. One of the favorites of our lady guests are the jetted tubs in the master suite baths...very relaxing after a brisk walk on the beach below. Beach access is easy and just a short walk down Sunset Street.
One thing for sure is that it is a relaxing get away where you can choose to be active or you can choose to just sit and watch the ocean.
Moclips and Pacific Beach have a colorful local history. Visit the museum and see some interesting artifacts and hear how things were at the turn of the Century.
Our dog friendly second home next to the beach entrance. Great place for kids.
Local Pub with good food, pool tables, sports bar and Karoke. Very local.
If you wish to drive on the beach, this is the entrance less than 1/2 mile South of Seashore Dreams.
A pleasant walk with the dogs down Sunset Street which is a private road to lovely beach homes below us. Do not drive, but enjoy the walk which is less than 5 minutes from our home.
Beautiful cliff top homes along with restaurant, bowling alley, movie theater, game room for the kids.
Owner's Map of Moclips
My husband and I became "ocean loving people" about 15 years ago after many years of backpacking in the hot, bug infested mountains. We enjoy the fresh air of the coast, the sounds of the pounding ocean and watching the storms come and go. I love photography and find this a great retreat to help get my creative juices going again. We have been dog owners and trainers for many years and we wanted a place to be dog friendly for us and for responsible guests with clean, well trained dogs.

What a great place to feel away at home; the owners have made sure that any level of chef would have most of what they need to feel like they were in their very own kitchen, which means never having to leave the coziness of the beach for meals! Plus we loved the wood burning fireplace and outdoor seating; saw three planets one night! We visited Mr.Wacky, Seabrook Pub, Lake Quinault, Moclips, Ruby Beach and more all while feeling like we were a short drive back to relaxing under the stars. Thank you for a great fall retreat!
Owner response:Thank you for pointing out the great locations and day trips from our home. As owners we often take these for granted and forget to tell about these wonderful places. We are glad you felt comfortable and at home at our SeaMist House and are happy you were able to capture the quietness and views of the skys. We hope to have you back soon!

No more Ocean Shores for me, (well except for shopping). Moclips is the place for me. Loved my stay here!! Very comfortable bed with great views from all windows. Nothing like sleeping with the blinds open and seeing the stars at night and the ocean in the morning. I also loved the tub! It felt more like staying at a friends home then a rental. Will stay here again!

If you dream of waking up to the surf with its soft reminder of the renwal of life then your stay at the Seamist in Moclips is for you. We spent the best two week vacation in July with our adult daughter relaxing, The view from every window is spectacular. From the front 60ft cliff we celebrated our 40th wedding vows with our daughter and welch corgies. The place is like home with everything at your fingertips. The kitchen is well equipted all you need is food. Lots of hot water, jet tub, laundry, cable and intranet, however the best part no cell phone. We had each other and the beach. We will be back. Thanks Deanne and Rich for the best place in Moclips. Loved it..wamom

My husband, I and 2 doggies loved our weekend at Sea Mist. The proximity to the beach, the views and the remote-ness of it all was breathtaking! We loved waking up to an amazing view and watching people come dig for clams in the early morning. By mid afternoon the beach was all ours! The house itself is tastefully decorated and has almost everything you could need! Thanks again DeAnne for a wonderful stay. We will be back!
Owner response:We put much thought and energy in our creation of Seashore Dreams and our primary goal was that it had the spectacular view yet a comfortable ambiance. What we love about our beaches is that for the most part are wide open for our guests and their dogs. Happy you loved your weekend at SeaMist.

Six of us ladies spent four wonderful days to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Beautiful residence and I am definitely coming back!! It was stormy most of the time we were there, which was awesome....loved watching the waves roll in and listening to the ocean at night.
Owner response:Seashore Dreams is just as much fun in a storm as it is in the Sunshine. You can see a storm approaching and the sky changes very quickly. Makes for some good weather photography. There is something about the soothing sound of the ocean that gently puts one to total relaxation. Thank you Lynn and we welcome you and your family back anytime.

I have stayed at many rental properties, including high end, and the amenties of all the comforts of home, cleanliness and attention to detail is exceptional. The views were spectacular, the walks on the beach soothing and the Lavender soak in the jet tub was just what I needed. Thank you for a great week-end. I have already recommended to my family and several friends.
Owner response:We try to be accurate in our description but leave some extra's so you are pleasantly surprised for the better! Our garden soak tub is very popular for relaxing and unwinding while getting away from the daily stresses.

Thank you so much for setting up the girls weekend and hosting Rose, Heather and myself. What a beautiful place. The view was spectacular, the walks on the beach invigorating and the accomodations were fabulous. Lucky us, we had sunshine and low winds (October is a really good month to visit the coast!). If anyone is looking for a wonderful place at the beach this should be your destination. Thank you again, DeAnne. Cheers, Shawn
Owner response:You are correct. Best kept secret, October is usually one of the best months for sunsets and ocean views and people don't realize its nicer on the coast than inland, so the beaches are less crowded. Great for fresh air and a walk with the dog.

What a lovely place! We stayed in both condos (3 ladies in each unit) and found the accomodations quite wonderful. Everything we needed in both kitchens was there (and easy to keep track of making sure we didn't mix things up). Both homes were immaculate. The view was to die for - both from inside the condos and out on the back patios. Quick & easy access to the beach on foot. We loved it!!!
Owner response:Seashore Dreams is popular for the ladies get away. Perfect for 6 guests so each can have their own room. We combined luxury and comfort blended with the natural environment and views for a true escape to the Washington coast.
