My stay and Seashore Dreams/Coastal Breeze Cottage was everything I'd hoped for; calm and quiet with charming facilities. The duplex unit was modern, up-to-date, cozy and the views area outstanding. There is a well stocked kitchen (not including food, of course), a supply of movies for the VCR and the floors are heated! When you step out of the marvelous whirlpool tub on to the toasty warm floors - its a real treat. I enjoyed laying in bed and watching the ocean. There was even an eagle on the beach one morning (looking for breakfast?) I've stayed at many lovely vacation spots on the coast, this is by far, the best. If you want to bring children, the owners have a supply of games on hand and movies for the whole family. There are also books and magazines to enjoy. Dining "at home" in the big bay window is lovely or out on the patio, in warmer weather, would be wonderful. If you choose not to prepare your own meal, there are many restaurants to choose from. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Owner response:Sheila - you describe exactly why we built there. Thank you for the great description of our little piece of heaven! We hope you are able to come back soon.

What a great place to feel away at home; the owners have made sure that any level of chef would have most of what they need to feel like they were in their very own kitchen, which means never having to leave the coziness of the beach for meals! Plus we loved the wood burning fireplace and outdoor seating; saw three planets one night! We visited Mr.Wacky, Seabrook Pub, Lake Quinault, Moclips, Ruby Beach and more all while feeling like we were a short drive back to relaxing under the stars. Thank you for a great fall retreat!
Owner response:Thank you for pointing out the great locations and day trips from our home. As owners we often take these for granted and forget to tell about these wonderful places. We are glad you felt comfortable and at home at our SeaMist House and are happy you were able to capture the quietness and views of the skys. We hope to have you back soon!

No more Ocean Shores for me, (well except for shopping). Moclips is the place for me. Loved my stay here!! Very comfortable bed with great views from all windows. Nothing like sleeping with the blinds open and seeing the stars at night and the ocean in the morning. I also loved the tub! It felt more like staying at a friends home then a rental. Will stay here again!

If you dream of waking up to the surf with its soft reminder of the renwal of life then your stay at the Seamist in Moclips is for you. We spent the best two week vacation in July with our adult daughter relaxing, The view from every window is spectacular. From the front 60ft cliff we celebrated our 40th wedding vows with our daughter and welch corgies. The place is like home with everything at your fingertips. The kitchen is well equipted all you need is food. Lots of hot water, jet tub, laundry, cable and intranet, however the best part no cell phone. We had each other and the beach. We will be back. Thanks Deanne and Rich for the best place in Moclips. Loved it..wamom

My husband, I and 2 doggies loved our weekend at Sea Mist. The proximity to the beach, the views and the remote-ness of it all was breathtaking! We loved waking up to an amazing view and watching people come dig for clams in the early morning. By mid afternoon the beach was all ours! The house itself is tastefully decorated and has almost everything you could need! Thanks again DeAnne for a wonderful stay. We will be back!
Owner response:We put much thought and energy in our creation of Seashore Dreams and our primary goal was that it had the spectacular view yet a comfortable ambiance. What we love about our beaches is that for the most part are wide open for our guests and their dogs. Happy you loved your weekend at SeaMist.

Be sure to pull into the homes and shops of local artists, you will be surprised at all the talent and treasures you'll find. A great place to relax and unwind. Thanks DeAnne and Rich for a wonderful home and hospitality. We'll be back!

Six of us ladies spent four wonderful days to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Beautiful residence and I am definitely coming back!! It was stormy most of the time we were there, which was awesome....loved watching the waves roll in and listening to the ocean at night.
Owner response:Seashore Dreams is just as much fun in a storm as it is in the Sunshine. You can see a storm approaching and the sky changes very quickly. Makes for some good weather photography. There is something about the soothing sound of the ocean that gently puts one to total relaxation. Thank you Lynn and we welcome you and your family back anytime.

Thank you so much for setting up the girls weekend and hosting Rose, Heather and myself. What a beautiful place. The view was spectacular, the walks on the beach invigorating and the accomodations were fabulous. Lucky us, we had sunshine and low winds (October is a really good month to visit the coast!). If anyone is looking for a wonderful place at the beach this should be your destination. Thank you again, DeAnne. Cheers, Shawn
Owner response:You are correct. Best kept secret, October is usually one of the best months for sunsets and ocean views and people don't realize its nicer on the coast than inland, so the beaches are less crowded. Great for fresh air and a walk with the dog.

I have stayed at many rental properties, including high end, and the amenties of all the comforts of home, cleanliness and attention to detail is exceptional. The views were spectacular, the walks on the beach soothing and the Lavender soak in the jet tub was just what I needed. Thank you for a great week-end. I have already recommended to my family and several friends.
Owner response:We try to be accurate in our description but leave some extra's so you are pleasantly surprised for the better! Our garden soak tub is very popular for relaxing and unwinding while getting away from the daily stresses.

What a lovely place! We stayed in both condos (3 ladies in each unit) and found the accomodations quite wonderful. Everything we needed in both kitchens was there (and easy to keep track of making sure we didn't mix things up). Both homes were immaculate. The view was to die for - both from inside the condos and out on the back patios. Quick & easy access to the beach on foot. We loved it!!!
Owner response:Seashore Dreams is popular for the ladies get away. Perfect for 6 guests so each can have their own room. We combined luxury and comfort blended with the natural environment and views for a true escape to the Washington coast.

Relaxing and escaping from the Texas summer heat was our goal. Both goals were satisfied beyond measure. Rich and DeAnne were the perfect hosts making the Cottage a turnkey event. My Bride of 33 years and I celebrated the event and completely de-stressed during our week stay. Walking along the beach never grew old. Day trip up to Ruby Beach, Lake Quinault, and Forks was very enjoyable. This will be high on our do it again list.
Owner response:The ocean is a wonderful contrast from our daily lives. The beauty of nature, the relaxing negative Ions from the ocean present a very healthy retreat. Our beaches are not so crowded as the rest of the coastline, so one can enjoy a pleasant romantic walk with their special person in their life.

DeAnne and Rich your place was wonderfull. Our families rented both sides and had a great time. I especially enjoyed SeaMist. The views were spectacular. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals. And everyone enjoyed a soak in the jetted tub. The kids loved sleeping in the loft as well. We hope to return again and pickup from where we left off on this trip. Thanks again for the hospitality and use of your property.
Owner response:Renting both sides has been popular with families and is a great way to share a good time while having your own space. Although not ideal for small children, older kids do love the crows nest up the spiral staircase. A great place for a family gathering.

It's hard to say enough about our stay at Seashore Dreams I. The view was fantastic; the accommodations were perfect. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed. The entire duplex was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Being handicapped, I especially appreciated the level entry and the large shower. We had 1 small problem - which was a coffee maker which stopped working, but a replacement was brought to us almost immediately. We certainly look forward to another stay in the future.
Owner response:When we created Seashore Dreams, we tried to think of everything. We designed around the growing population of 50+ crowd (like us) and made the home with universal design (ie wider doorways, no stairs, lower light switches and wheelchair accessible shower. Things happen in a home and we try to accomodate as quickly as possible to the needs of our guests.

We have stayed in both Seashore Dreams I and II and feel at home on either side. Everything we need for a peaceful, relaxing weekend is in the rental and, most of all, just outside the wall of windows that looks down at the crashing waves. In good weather and bad, this is the place to enjoy the beach. DeAnne and Rich always make sure to leave the little extras that make us and our little dogs feel like special guests.
Owner response:WE designed Seashore Dreams from the ground up and made sure that the views were the focal point of the design. The waves, water and scenery are amazing so we like our guests to enjoy.

If you are going to stay on the west coast of Washington, this is a great place to choose. We stayed at Seashore Dreams I for a week. The home is beautifully decorated and it is clean...clean...clean! I cannot stress that enough! The home was cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. The views were breathtaking. Using the telescope, I saw a porpoise jumping in and out of the water in the ocean within five minutes of arriving! The house was spectacular in its lay out and design. I really felt comfortable here. I would recommend it to anyone. You will not be disappointed, and the owners were available by email for any questions I had. They were wonderful. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. The beach is clean and quiet. The sunsets, amazing. If you want a quiet and relaxing place to stay, this is your place.

I just spent 5 amazing days with the 18 people who run the divisions of my company, Together We Can Change The World, Inc. Those who stayed in Seashore Dreams loved it! We laughed, we cried, we had tons of fun, and we firmed up our commitment and our plan to use our gifts and talents to rock this world in a way it's never experienced! Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful place to stay. We shall return!

The view was INCREDIBLE! We spent a lot of time just sitting around enjoying the view. Even my two year old loved watching the cars drive by on the beach and the kites flying. It was also fun to watch the storm! The walk to the beach was easy and close. We spent lots of time walking on the beach and we loved watching all the people out digging clams. The house was clean, well organized and beautiful. It was better than the pictures. The spa tub was great! The owners were helpful in providing instructions.

Beautiful place to stay and enjoy the view of the ocean. Nicely decorated, very comfortable and the extra touches made it easy to relax. It was wonderful to be able to bring the dogs. Had one rainy day and after a wet walk on the beach, built a fire and watched movies from the large dvd collection that is offered. Great kitchen to prepare meals, don't think too many restaurants can offer a view like this one has. All agreed we had to leave way too soon!!!

This is an absolutely delightful place for a vacation stay on the Washington Coast. The view of the Pacific Ocean from the cliff is spectacular. The unit is beautifully furnished with a completely equipped kitchen. There is plenty to do - from walking or driving on the beach to watching the small boats crabbing. An added plus is that the units are designed for easy handicapped use. There is a ramp to the front door and one bathroom has a wide door and a roll in shower. Since one of our party is in a wheelchair, this design was perfect.
Owner response:Our home is designed to accomodate wheelchairs and we thought of that when designing the home originally. All living can be done on the main floor comfortably and its an easy entry with no stairs.

We stayed in Seashore Dreams II for 3 wonderful nights after the holidays. It was great to find such a perfect place to unwind. The pictures of the unit don't do it proper justice. Not only did it have everything you can imagine, but there were many other "little" things DeAnne and Rich have considered that make it even more comfortable. It was also spotless on arrival which can't be easy so close to the beach. Views are incredible from the downstairs and even more so from the loft bedroom up the spiral staircase. Even has a garage to park in. We had a great time and hope to enjoy it again soon. You can't go wrong here!!!

We tremendously enjoyed our 5 day stay. It was very relaxing and quiet, which is exactly what we wanted. The home is very nice, easily accessible and has an overlooking view of the Pacific Ocean that is beautiful. The sunsets, the boats at night and watching the waves, provides an exceptional spot to sit and read and enjoy those you are traveling with. An EXCEPTIONAL place to stay...
