  Great condo with nice ocean view, great pool/hot tub, nice grounds, across the street from Kam 3 beach park, walking distance from restaurants and general store. Short drive to shopping at wailea and mekena beach, snorkling. Nothing fancy just a great place to relax and enjoy Maui.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

  My family & I stayed in the condo for a few days in October. This was my first trip ever to Maui. We went for pleasure & to visit family. The condo is very beautiful and quiet. I liked the fact that we were away from all the hustle & in the middle of everything. I wanted to take a trip to Maui for so long, but could not find a reasonably priced hotel, and being that I never been there before I did not know where anything was & how good the hotels there were. Then I heard about Kamaole Sands, so I looked it up. I liked what I saw. I like the fact that everything was there in the condo so I could save money and buy food to cook instead of going out to eat all day. The only thing I had to bring was clothes & food to cook. Another thing that I liked about this condo is the fact that you are dealing with the owners themselves & no one else. If you are looking for a place to stay, this is the perfect place, you will not be disappointed. I'm looking forward to going back, now that I know a place that I can stay.

  My 4 year old son and I stayed for 1 week in this beautiful, clean, well maintained condo in Kihei. We had a fabulous, relaxing, fun-filled time. We had everything we needed- a dish washer, full sized refrigerator and stove, washer dryer- all in perfect working order! What convenience! What a cost savings! There is no place more beautiful than Maui, in my opinion. There is something very special about the island, the fresh air and ocean. Kamaole Sands really enhanced our experience. It is very quiet, gives the impression of being secluded, though is right across from the beach and a couple shopping/restaurant areas within walking distance. My son and I enjoyed spending time with our friends who also stayed at Kamaole Sands in another unit. We went to the pool and beach daily. My son loved it. The kids pool is a great place to meet other kids and parents. The beach is clean and wonderful. We had BBQs at night, where my son met other kids and had the time of his life, we met other families and enjoyed socializing with them. Many of these families return every year to Kamaole Sands (which we plan to do next year with Dad and Sister as well!) All in all a wonderful, relaxing, special time. I thank Elly for her hospitality, allowing us to stay in her beautiful unit and the ease of setting everything up. We hope to return every summer and have already begun talking to other friends on the mainland who are interested in joining us next year!

  For over 35 years we have been bumming around on Maui. We always stay in condos and always in Kihei. Kamaole Sands is a very desirable condo complex and currently our favorite. This condo is great. Clean and cool. Nice big flat screen TV in the living room. What? Even in Paradise a beach bum needs to watch favorite sit-coms, or the Olympics. We recommend the lovely beach and park across the street for your sunset requirements. Take the 5 1/2 hour snorkel trip with Blue Water rafting. Go to the Wailea end of the big highway to the Monkey Pod for the best happy hour of all. This building is quiet most of the time. Good parking place, great price. Very sweet owners. Get off that couch and get yourself to the beach.

  Recently stayed at this condo for a few days. It was everything I was looking for and more. The condo is updated, clean and the owners very cooperative. Although it has air conditioning, I found I didn't need it because of the soft Hawaiian breeze which flowed through the rooms. The beach is only a few minutes walk away and the condo is within easy walking distance of several restaurants and shops. I plan to stay here again when I plan my next vacation on Maui.

  Elly and Sean have their condo set up so well for their guests--everything you need is there! Drop off your groceries, grab the beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and snorkel gear they've provided, and you can be on the beach in 5 minutes! The condo is a quick walk across the street to a beautiful beach with a lovely park for the kiddos. The condo had plenty to cook with, platters, a cooler or two, ziploc bags, saran wrap, etc. It's by far the best equipped condo we've ever rented! Gorgeous landscaping, too We found the pool area too crowded for our tastes--too many kids in the adult pool without swim diapers--eew! It's an easy walk to restaurants (1 mile or so) and shopping. Wailea's just a few minutes down the street, too. Elly was so kind in allowing us a later check-out to accommodate our flight times--and she offered, we didn't have to ask. She truly gave us the impression she wanted us to enjoy ourselves. There's a road next to the lanai that leads to some apartment complexes--do be aware that you'll hear some road noise as you're sipping your mai tai at sunset. I found that I didn't really notice it much after the first few days. We'd rent this condo again in a second--don't hesitate!

  My wife and I have just returned from a two-week stay. We really enjoyed every moment. The condo is perfect for two people, although it can sleep four. It is exactly as the VRBO listing says - no surprises. We did have a couple of minor issues which were handled quickly and professionally by the owners. They also live on Maui, so are able to provide help and local knowledge, if needed. Kamaole Sands is an immaculately maintained resort. Everything was spotless - the pool area, the grounds and the common barbeques. We used the barbeques many times and were always amazed at how clean they were kept. We also got to meet and chat with other guests while we were grilling our suppers. There are several restaurants/bars within easy walking distance, so no need to drive if you don't want to. One of these restaurants (808 Bistro) allows you to bring your own beer or wine.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

  We recently went stayed at this condo for our honeymoon, and it was beyond what we expected! The condo was quite large, clean, had everything we could ever think we'd need. Plus, the beaches in Kihei are wonderful. We will definitely stay here on our next trip!

  Thank you so much! It was everything that you described and more. The condo is comfortable and had everything that we could have needed. We actually over packed, We were so surprised to see the body boards, beach towels, chairs and other water/beach equipment. The kitchen had everything we needed also. The location is great! Across the street from a wonderful beach, Walking distance from great restaurants and shopping. The Condominium grounds are beautiful. Great tennis courts, pool, workout equipment, (2) hot tubs! (one hot tub for adults only tucked away in the corner out of the way). Oh yea and the grills... my favorite part! perfectly maintained and clean grills tucked away in a beautiful breeze way among the banana trees with a great table to sit and eat and chat. Just wonderful! We will be back! Thank you again for helping make this fantastic vacation possible!!!
