I would highly recommend this UNIT and RESORT to stay at! We will definitely be back to stay in this UNIT again!! Lorena was so kind and very willing to accommodate our last minute reservation! This unit is beautiful inside and has everything you need to stay a whole week in Florida! Sadly there aren't very many boutiques at the RESORT but who cares when you can drive to Pier Park or nearby Destin and South Walton Beach boutiques in a few minutes! The pools were wonderful especially the large one for INN guests! My husband and 3 yr old daughter definitely enjoyed the hot tubs and beautiful RESORT POOL! We were worried at first that we might have to drive to the beach within the RESORT but after our first WALK around, we decided who wouldn't love taking a stroll thru the RESORT to get to one of many lovely beach access points! The beach was just a short stroll away! And let me tell you it was like having a private beach to yourself. We stayed the last week of July and you would have thought the beach would be crowded but it wasn't. And who doesn't like having a restaurant/cafe within walking distance of the pool! There were so many beautiful picture spots here too! This UNIT is definitely High Class! Granite Counters and King Size Bed! Even down to the luxurious soft towels! Thank you for a wonderful stay and jump start to our vacation in Florida and at an astonishing PRICE!

I have to say, my family (me, my husband, and our little boy) had a WONDERFUL stay here in April 2010. The owners have taken perfect care of their condo. It was very roomy and comfortable for our family. Another reviewer stated there were no guest services- they are correct, as this is a privately owned unit and not a hotel room. However, the condo was fully stocked with everything we needed for our one week stay, including plenty of bath linens and beach towels, and kitchen ammenities such as dish towels and trash bags. Nothing was overlooked or lacking, and for the price you won't find a better rental on a private area of PCB. The only addition that would be nice is a large toaster oven to accomodate eating in a little better. The pool and hot tubs are beautiful, clean, new, and never crowded (often you will be the only one there!). The view of the lake and ocean from this condo is wonderful. The neighborhood of Carillon is a beautiful, quiet place to walk and ride bikes, and there is a great playground for the kids a short walk away. For privacy and peace and quiet in a beautiful setting,and for families of all ages, this place has it all.

Unfortunately the Resort is seasonal and some shops are closed in the Winter months but there are other shopping venues just down the street along with some great restaurants. Lorena your condo is lovely and my husband a& I had a wonderful weekend! Its' very nice to stay at someones condo where it has been kept up and clean! We will keep this in mind next time we make it this way. Shelly & Greg

OK unit but resort is pretty much shut down

Lorena's unit was very comfortable and fit our family well. Outside of that, I would not recommend a unit at Carillon Beach resort if you are going for the advertised amenities. Basically, you get a pool and beach access, which you get about anywhere else. There are no guest services of any kind and most of the businesses advertised within the resort are no longer open. We did not take beach chairs as we thought we would be able to rent them from the beach service at the resort. No such luck. Again, the unit we stayed in was ok, but too expensive considering we paid a little more expecting the resort amenities. There are just too many better options available.
