My family and I stayed at this house in May 2010. We liked the house and it worked well for a family. The front of the home is a mobile home that has been added onto in the rear. The pictures don't show it but the entire back wall of the living room has windows that overlook the lake. One of the best features! The bathrooms are a little outdated but everything worked well. We loved the deck but wished that there were lights outside. It was hard to grill with no lights at night. The same for the boat house over the water. We would have loved to have been able to fish at night but hard with no lights. There is a great screened in porch with a ping pong table that my boys loved as well as a paddle boat that they enjoyed! For a family this is a great "fish camp" and you we caught ALOT of big fish! Very easy to get to and easy to get into town to shopping. If you eat out go to Tony's Steak Barn it was wonderful! Thanks again for letting us rent your home!
Recommended for:Pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed at the Shine's Fish House during the 3rd week in March of 2008. It was exactly what we were looking for. A clean, spacious lake house that we were more than comfortable with. Not very fancy, but the comfort and charm amenities certainly outweighed any fancy hotel or condo! We are looking forward to staying there again next year. Owners were extremely nice too!!
