Our home is a custom designed retreat, nestled in the trees overlooking one of the premier fishing spots on the Tuckaseigee River. Enjoy outstanding mountain views from either of the two decks, or from the lawn, and enjoy any of the many exciting activities within minutes from home.
The home has three bedrooms with a balcony overlooking the great room with large south facing windows, a Vermont Castings wood burning stove, and includes a TV/DVD and Stereo System. A wireless internet connection is also provided. There is a washer and dryer.
We are located less than 10 minutes from the shops and restaurants of Sylva and Dillsboro, the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, and Whitewater Rafting and Western Carolina University. We are also 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 30 minutes from the Nantahala River and 45 minutes from Asheville.

Christmas retreat for us.

The 5 of us visited this property for 7-days during Christmas. The serenity is VERY nice and the high view of The Tuck River was delightful. Heating was as described and quite adequate (loved the wood stove especially). The property was clean and maintained. The owner was very helpful with questions and responses. The only draw back for someone not in shape is the steps from the car to the cabin. Our group was fine with the steps. After a cup of coffee and the view from the deck the steps are long forgotten. Some won't find this property as charming and cozy as we did.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing.
