This lofty and spacious Hawaiian estate lies on the best sandy beach in Puako between the Mauna Kea and Mauni Lani Resorts. Most of Puako has no sandy beach and access to the water is over lava rocks. Because of this estate's beach, and sandy bottom swimming lagoon, it is considered the best of the best of Puako by local realtors and rental agents. With 180 degree views of the ocean, bay, the island of Maui plus the Mauna Kea Volcano this property has it all.
Built in 2007, this fully-screened tropical pole house construction is an award-winning architectural style,and offers 4 very spacious master bedroom suites and 4 1/2 baths (3 large king masters and 3 1/2 baths in the main house PLUS an additional king master suite and bath in the unattached 2nd-story studio apartment). The gourmet kitchen, large and airy great room with media center, den, and grand lanai all have spectacular views of the ocean and are steps away from the sandy beach. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. The up-scale studio also boasts a fully-equipped kitchen and spectacular ocean and bay views, and lies within the estate's gates and walls.

Two outdoor hot showers in private gardens lead from the garden gates to the sandy beach. Your warm lagoon is your swimming pool. Protected and only 2-5 feet deep with a sandy bottom,it is home to green sea turtles and colorful juvenile fish. A few strokes beyond the reef-protected lagoon is the best snorkeling, scuba diving and kayaking in Hawaii. In low tide the tidal pools will inspire, and in January through May, the 45 foot humpback whales will thrill. Morning walks along the two-lane Puako Beach Drive will find you at Puako's famous ancient Hawaiian rock carvings, the largest example of Petroglyphs in the world. There is also a Hawaiian grocery store in very short walking distance.

The Unique Benefits at this HOUSE
We are one of a very few properties on the only sandy beach in Puako. We have a tidal protected lagoon in front of our villa, perfect for laps and children. Just beyond is access to one of the best snorkeling and scuba diving on the island. Humback whales cruise our reef in front of our villa and green sea turtles are common visitors to our lagoon.
