we had a great vacation at the condo. The view was fantastic. You could sit in the balcony and watch the waves. Elevators and the luggage cart were a great help to carry all our luggage. We were two couples and the bedrooms were quite far apart so there is complete privacy. The furniture was very comfortable. I would recommend the condo for a family.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My husband, 2 children and my mother and father in law vacationed for the third time at Topsail beach. This was the first time in this condo. We had plenty of room in the condo...never getting in each others way. The pictures are very accurate. Also, there are many comforts of home in this condo....plenty to cook with, comfortable furnishings, and a wonderfully awesome view of the beach. Ms. Das was extremely helpful in answering our questions...she was only an email away and was very prompt in getting back with us. We hope to stay at your place at Shipwatch again. Shipwatch is very close to Food Lion and several restaurants. The people that we met were very nice and friendly. I would recommend this condo and beach to a friend. Thanks MadonnaRecommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My husband and I travel to Topsail every year in the Spring. After reviewing our options, we decided to stay 1308 Shipwatch. When arriving, the first big perk was the elevator to the 3rd floor. In past years, we have had to hike up many flights of stairs with luggage which is no easy chore as you get older in life. Shipwatch is great because you have your own private entry way (all of which is totally covered so no exposure to the elements. The first thing that greets you as you walk through the door is the beautiful view of the ocean. Madonna has everything you could possibly need at your disposal. My husband goes through "flat screen" tv withdrawal and it was great to know he would not be in pain this week. Also is the great WI-FI service (so easy to connect all of your electronics to keep you in touch). The condo was very clean, the beds were comfortable and one of the largest condos I 've had the pleasure to staying at on Topsail. The weather was totally uncooperative our week (we have been going to Topsail for the past 12 years and this is the FIRST time we have every had such horrible weather (cold, almost gale force winds, totally uncharacteristic for the last week of April) but we had plenty of other opportunities to go to the North Carolina Aquariums, to explore Wilmington, Beaufort (a MUST SEE - we have wonderful personal pictures of the Banker ponies on the Rachel Carson Reserve Island across the inlet!) and New Bern. Madonna left no logical or needed amenity from the condo. The condo has sliding glass doors in both the living room AND the master bed room and the crashing waves were so relaxing! With the extraordinary high waves, there were plenty of surfers at Surf City Pier on Sunday and we were happy to just sit there for hours watching them hone their skill. We will be back, Madonna to 1308 and again, thank you -- you are a gem to work with! (Maybe we will get to use all of your beach gear for sitting on the oceanfront next year!)Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I have nothing but good things to say about this condo and the owners. The owners were highly available via e-mail and phone and were very accomodating. The condo has two bedrroms (far enough apart to provide privacy, separate full baths, comfy beds and furniture, large deck with chairs/table, you could throw a rock into the Atlantic Ocean, fully equipped kitchen, no hidden charges, some of the nicest people I have ever met, great sea-shelling or shark tooth hunting, had the beach all to ourselves, elevator, luggage carts, wi-fi, three TVs, all the beach chairs/umbrella/kids sand-castle toys are provided, handy washer and dryer, great seafood restaurants - Sears Landing (in Surf City - a few miles down the road) and RiverView were my favorites. Scallops, Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna were our favorites and we did have GREAT fried chicken at Riverview as well as Cajun Jumbalaya at Daddy Macs which was very good. This condo is an easy drive to Camp Lejeune if you are visiting one of the Few and Proud. We hated to leave and shall return!!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The condo was exactly what we needed. Two bedrooms far from each other, large space, beautiful ocean front, the sand is gorgeous, the pool was perfect. Kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and necessities, everything was in working order. And there are elevators so you don't have to worry about young children.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
